Hi everyone, this is my latest LotR drawing. This one took me forever! seriously this drawing was the only one so far that actually made me think: "will I ever finish this!?" :D. this drawing was actually more work than fun haha, I probably would'nt do this again if I got the chance but I'm glad I did it, cause in my opinion this is my best one so far, simply because of all the detail work( the helmet was the hardest part), I have no idea how many hours went into to this, but it was MANY hours:D
P.S. I'm almost done with my next fifa 09 video, so for those who getting tired of my LotR drawings, have patience :) my next upload will be a fifa vid.

I never really got into the LotR stuff, but wow these drawings have been amazing! Anyone with an aprecitaion to art will probably love these Very Nice!

thanks for watching this one too! :) well I'm a detail freak,lol, :D so I draw very slowly to get so many details I possibly can. For shadows I just use regular HB pencils or sometimes charcoal and I smudge them out to make shadows. I assume you draw human portraits from photos in that case one good advice is that you should always start with drawing the eyes, then it's much easier to measure out the other facial proportions. Shading is what makes the face come alive, practice a LOT on shading.

thanks :), I dont know it depends on the size and detail of the picture. Well I wont be making any more pes 6 vids, that's for sure, but I havent stopped making fifa 09 vids, my next one is almost finished, so stay tuned for that ;)

no, I learned to draw by myself, however one year after I did these drawings I studied at an art school for two years, where I learned to paint with oils among other things Thanks!

well at the moment I will only draw characters from the movies, but I would like someday to draw the enviroments of lord of the rings, so yeah I share your idea but it will have to wait :) thanks.

I'm speechless again. . . how can you get it so detailed? What do you use for shadows? I draw myself, but for the moment mainly animals. I'm practicing human portraits though, but they're difficult. Especially with shadows and shaping. Any advices? :)

men....this shit takes me a week for copy that.....but finally is perfect, but very hard......tell me loaded88, how much time you must study to draw this??....how much is your study? because I can draw this..but copying....originally, I can't draw this from my "imagination".I study drawing 2 years ago, little time. but what method did you use to draw faces like this? .. with Andrew Loomis could reach that level? involves a lot of facial anatomy?? and also shows the work of shadow and shades.thx
