Sauron has returned. I started watching this series excited and with an open mind, but after a few episodes I had to be part of the big crowd talking bad. It simply lacks the grandeur with which Tolkien described elves and gods, this made men seem small and powerless, which greatly magnified their actions.

One could hardly expect it to be worse than the first season... But it seem like you'll be able to pull it off... I'm actually slightly impressed in a Swedish kind of way that you actually managed to make it look even worse despite all the feedback telling you how to make it better. Guess you simply did the opposite of what all the knowledgeable people told you yet again just like you did with the first season... Why bother fixing the mistake when you can double down on it instead?

Dang. The first I even heard of this was when I saw a KZfaqr trash it, so I thought this maybe came out years ago. But no, it took me several minutes of reading all the comments to realize this trailer came out so recently. Oh, also I'm very pleased by the fact that I watched only the first minute of the first season, knew it was going to be something I didn't like, and left the room immediately. I can breathe happily knowing I didn't waste my time.

I just had an epiphany! Maybe the 2nd season explains how Guyladriel still had absolutely perfect hair after standing right inside a volcano's pyroclastic cloud... it's a wig (and she just got a new one)! Those ARE the wigs of power it seems!!

Is this a April's fool? Amazon went ahead with a season 2??? Its soooo bad l as a lotr fan couldn't watch it. The directing,the ignoring of the lore, the writting the acting....season 1 was soooo bad lm in utter shock they made a season 2. Only people that will watch it are those watching to laugh at how bad it is. Seems on 1 is a 0 out of 10 off me. I'm shocked they made season 2. My guess the people signing off on it have never watched season 1.

I guess Prime isn’t making the same mistake as last time, airing the show at the same time as House Of The Dragon, which totally eclipsed ROP in popularity. Also, ROP was just terrible, and plagued with issues, bad writing, bad acting, poor choices in cast selection etc.
