The 3rd of January 2017 is J.R.R. Tolkien’s 125th birthday - only five more years to beat the Old Took! Naturally, Sommer’s World Literature To Go did not shy away from summarizing his Opus Magnum, the epic fantasy novel THE LORD OF THE RINGS. The main challenge was not the length of this lengthy work (we beat Peter Jackson by some 10 hours or so), but the fact that l Playmobil don't have fingers and are therefore not in a habit of wearing rings. But hey - all things considered, the cast did very well. DISCLAIMER: WATCHING THIS VIDEO DOES NOT REPLACE READING IT! My recommendation: Read it yourself.
