On the one hand Cortosis can dissipate blaster bolts and even lightsaber blades while Beskar simply withstands them. However, Beskar is also much more durable and can tank strikes (e.g. punches from Imperial Dark Troopers) that would easily shatter Cortosis armor and weapons.

It would've been better to use the glow effect on the ENTIRE arrow... in Star Wars there are actually are bow and arrow equivalents that use energy based arrows. The Nightsisters from the Clone Wars show use them.

Agreed re: lightsabers casting light on their surroundings. Which is something most of the Star Wars movies themselves didn't do! (Seriously, watch the prequels and you'll see that the CGI characters have lightsaber light reflecting on them while their non-CGI opponents don't. Particularly noticeable when Dooku and Yoda face off.)

You made references to Yoda and Qui Gon, yes they were great warriors but they only drew if they had no choice. Yoda's focus was far more on force connection than lightsaber wielding. Now as far as Aragorn goes, he was a ranger, living in the wild. He was not a scholar or anything of that sort. I think someone like Elrond, Haldir, and Theoden would probably have green blades. Aragorn is a solid blue. Honestly in a way he kind of reminds me of Clone Wars Obi Wan.

@@jduttskywalker dude, to say that Aragorn wasn't academic is a very bad understatement. his academic/knowledgeable side wasn't as visible as Gandalf's, but still he was very well learned and cultured. he is also diplomatic, and at least that is obvious from his character. that he was more than a great general or ranger was proved after he became king. in my opinion, he is a perfect example of green. he was actually a diplomat, it's just that his diplomatic skills weren't of very much use during the war of the rings.

@@foreignroninl1555 The Rancor is a lot bigger and they have no means with which to crush its head. The troll is smart enough to use weapons though, so who knows?

@@Amadeus8484 Actually I ended up looking up the heights of both the Rancor and the Cave Troll, and surprisingly they are approximately the same height: Rancors on average are about 5 meters (just over 16ft), whereas the Cave Troll featured in the Fellowship of the Ring was apparantly 17ft tall. But yeah, the Rancor definitely appears to be the more durable of the two - according to Wookiepedia, their leathery hide is apparently tough enough to even deflect blaster bolts - while the troll appears to be slightly more intelligent. Now the question I have is on which of the two creatures would win in a fight against each other. My bets would be on the Rancor, since even though it doesn't appear to be as crafty as the cave troll is - though they do appear to be crafty enough to understand the effectiveness of throwing large rocks or objects at prey or threats, as shown by boss fights with them in the Force Unleashed - it is considerably more durable, and is likely also the stronger of the two. Thus, I think a rancor could be able to tank most, if not all of the attacks a cave troll could throw at it before eventually being able to overpower it with its own brute strength.

It'd be great to get the footage with individual sound FX and music tracks so a proper mix could be done.
