These are the Call of Duty Zombies maps we never got to see.
Leak posted anonymously to pastebin.
NOTE: there's def stuff in here which is inaccurate, but there's some accurate bits too, and I thought it would be a fun experiment to see how you guys receive a video edited in this style.
Should I do more videos like this with more reputable leaks? If so please definitely leave a comment and let me know!

this video was an experiment - normally in my vids I'm acting as a source of authority, explaining something (with no nonsense). Today I wanted to test out what happens if I approached a video as more of a spectator, discovering info alongside you from somebody else's source, whether it be accurate, or dubious. I actually like this format a lot, the presentation feels a lot more calmer than other videos. Would not mind to see more videos made in this style in the future! Alongside the whiteboard videos too ofc.

I remember sitting up all night in forums, theorising over the fabled Atlantis map, during the original Black Ops. You’ve just unlocked a crazy old memory. Edit - going by other comments, I assume he mentions it in the video. Haven’t gotten that far yet lol. I remember Treyarch used to hop in those forums, and take bits and pieces and put them in the game. Man, those who weren’t there will never know how phenomenal that time was. Devs and fans working together, creating the story. That’s why OG players are so attached to the game. It was quite literally OUR game.

Its sad because Its actually a damn good story I feel like if we had more black ops 3 elements like the perks not changing and old point system people wouldnt of minded it. It was a really cool story and was going to take us places with a story with loads of maps that have alot of soul. Zombies maps nowadays feel like a campaign mission.

I think if they never said it was separate from the original at the start and waited till aether was over it would’ve been great. Even if you want it separate you don’t say that outright at the beginning while were all dying for the end of the story we’ve cared for for 10 years

MW2019 came as sort of a revelation for Activision. I think they realized from around the middle of that game’s development that the future of COD could be changed for the better (for them, aka, a lot more revenue). So because of that I think Activision did a full of restructuring of everything and since BO4 was part of the “older cod style” it got ignored.

Because of black ops Cold War. The 2020 game was supposed to be a sledgehammer studios game, which followed the previous cycle. But Sledgehammer and raven had internal development issues (probably due to sledgehammers staff being gutted post COD WWII), so activision made treyarch take over instead and rush out Cold War to meet their annual game deadline.

Tbf, the thing about Blaze phase being made with TranZit in mind kind of makes sense. There is no map in BO4 where the perk is useful. Without the inclusion of TranZit, it’s kind of a whimsical perk.

I looooved the final product so much. It's actually my favorite zombie game it hurt so much to listen to this... i wish we would of gotten year 2 man. I just hope Black Ops 6 will have a huge zombies mode, with a great art direction and story and most importantly great maps and many maps. I WISH this game is phenomenal and instead of making half assed zombies mode for other cods they go for year 2 or 3 of zombies if the game is that good

Yeah, the hate definitely killed the zombies mode. The community deserves the shit that got developed afterwards. Black Ops 4 was totally fine and enjoyable (blue screens apart) but people had to complain and now we have those shitty modes instead of the real zombies experience with hard to complete easter eggs and all... I miss those zombies gameplays.

@@TheDavidish It looks very similar but the only differences that I know of is that the Baby Gun would have different elemental stones, each having a different effect. The PAP would have a different design, there would a second new wonder weapon and the layout would a a lot different to Shangri-La.

I don’t know if these leaks are true or no, the only thing i know is that the more i hear about canned Chaos maps, the more i cry for what we lost… Chaos has a special place in my heart, it was the combination of both my biggest passion: greek mithology and zombies. I want it to come back so bad, but i know this is not gonna happen.

Honestly that's how I personally expected the story to end. There was this build up to the Great War all throughout BO3, and Revelations ends just before the cycle starts with the great war. The original elemental staves were certainly mentioned for a reason. I don't know if all of this is true, but it does make sense.

This is actually insane. 2 passes with updated 'remasters' and Easter Eggs with themes updated for the new storyline. And with other maps to have been made for BO3 chronicles? MADNESS! Not to mention on top of that, new chaos maps too! Also GRIEF?!?!?!? ALSO, ALSO, THE GREAT WAR?! lmao yeah we were waiting for that, and still are... (RIP). Zombies fans really were shafted for this game. BUT, After all of the budget cuts, I still commemorate the Treyarch team for trying to make the best of a bad situation. I only blame Activision for Zombies going downhill. Treyarch are the lifeforce for COD. At least that's my opinion. Only TREYARCH can do Zombies properly, and only TREYARCH can properly evolve these games for both new and old players. (Don't believe me? We had the same movement system for like 5 years. WHO changed it? TREYARCH!! (Omnimovement)

pretty much, treyarch is the one that is pushing hard on new ideas and GOOD ones. bo4 revamped the health system to make gunfights smarter cold war fixed the mess ups of modern snorefare and is the best cod from the last 5 years and bo6 is revamping the movement and doing new things while building on cold war. i won't play bo6 cause online only and cod hq, but treyarch is doing the best they can. i don't mean to throw sledgehammer under a bus or anything but treyarch is the best of the best.

What if for the boss fight you'd be fighting the boss in a sinking or sunk and falling Atlantis and you could play through the map normally while it's sinking if you complete the EE step before boss fight but never go into boss fight 👀

This is my favorite kind of zombies content ever I’ll NEVER forget looking up leaks and predictions for bo2 DLC 4 before origins was ever revealed. The creepy pasta vibe of all these predictions and the general vibe of the zombies community at the time was so surreal One video was about how DLC4 would be on a huge boat underwater Atlantis-esque and so many other crazy theories that I was fully ready to see come to life as a 13 year old 🙂‍↕️ When Origins was revealed I went absolutely nuts. Was on vacation in the Poconos at the time and I watched that trailer at least 30 times, plus any breakdowns and reactions that may have existed at the time. That was when I found your channel for the time 🎉

It's astonishing how bizarre and mysterious everything surrounding BO4 develpment is. The year started in the most epic and promising way possible, with quality maps, great-quality 3D cutscenes ,Jason Blundell was back playing with the fans and pretending to leak stuff to get people hyped up, they wouldn't stop mentioning the Great War, the Chaos story was a nice yet not too far from roots breath of fresh air, and the number of promised new features was unbelievably exciting. It literally started as BO3 Part 2. Some months later, the massive wave of mystery and hopelessness struck the development. Jason Blundell was fired, Activision cut off Treyarch's budget and staff for BO4, and the game was super rushed to get to a last-minute finale with poor 2D cutscenes (literal powerpoints), leaving an incomplete and disappointing Zombies experience as a result.

My thing is the leaker doesnt gain anything from this. And more so that it kinda went unnoticed. I think I can say I feel like I totally feel this is true. Black ops 4 feels unfinished and they way Jason talked about the game it seems like it was gonna be his mangnum opus and I feel like since he wasnt able to complete his art it left a bad taste in his mouth and so he left. I think jason is a very smart man and he kinda saw where the next couple years were heading.

Milo is his best with theories and data. If he ever chose to work on games and be a writer, he'd be a legend (well more than he currently is). I haven't played new zombies or anything since Black ops 3 but watching this boy yap could keep listening forever.

Man… just like Halo… hearing some cool and amazing ideas that could’ve existed only to be dismissed and thrown out. Hope BO3 custom zombie guys can step up and give us maps inspired by these ideas. I also think most of this stuff is real but going through a game of telephone. Hearing one thing but then being told another and yet it’s still probably relatively close to the original ideas thought of.

I really like this style of video! I agree with you that it's likely that this information should be taken with a large grain of salt, however I do like the sound of these leaks of what could've been. Some of it seems off for the reasons that you mentioned but a lot of it seems believable especially by the fact that some of it seems to be backed up by things you and others have heard from devs who were involved. I really wish we could've gotten the Great War map.

The biggest piece of evidence of this being true is the fact that the alpha omega round change and game over music DOES in fact sound like it would have been made for a Tranzit remake rather than alpha omega after going back and listening. It’s subtle, but I feel like only someone who worked at Treyarch during black ops 4 would have knowledge of that.

Love the video format, and with zombies as a franchise having a slew of cut content with enough scraps to prove it existed at somepoint, but not enough to where speculation is often had over it, I think this style of video would be great if it returned, especially to cover other cut zombies content.

I would like to believe this is true because of how lazy Bo4 story telling was because of the budget cuts and then getting put on Sledgehammers game "Coldwar" it just cut out any reason for Treyarch or rightly so... Activision.... to stop funding Bo4 because they obviously saw the success of ZC (and profits) but moved on to the new game. All I can say is Bo4 is a VERY unfinished game that COULD have been great.

Honestly Milo, anything you make in relation to zombies, that is made how YOU want to make it, in your style & is something you're passionate about, will be a good watch regardless. I dont think people come to watch these videos just for the zombies content, but also because its you.
