Patriots should have joined mainstream parties instead of going it alone. Then they could have got the issue of too much immigration onto the election agenda and probably got some anti mass immigration MPs elected to Parliament. It would have also allowed them to campaign without being labeled racists or extremists. Because they could have turned round and said something like: "Look I am a member of the Liberal Party we are not against immigration as such. We just want it reduced to acceptable levels". They would have gained a lot more respectability by campaigning within the established parties.
