Not just completing the game. You had to find every collectable in the game to get this ending. Was before the internet existed too. This was an appropriate ending. I laughed my ass off when I got it.

Nice to see this on KZfaq. I did hear about this ending but it was so long finding out where it comes from. Every time I looked this up it said you get it from collecting all the DNA keys in the game. I tried this lots of times for years on the copy I have and dispite collecting all the DNA keys in the game the secret ending with Malcolm never apeared. Still puzzled by this and yet finding it on KZfaq I tried to dig a bit further. That's when I found out in a video discription that the ending only apears from collecting all the DNA keys in a special edition of the game which included a bonus level with playing the T-Rex. In the end while the Malcolm secret ending exists in the special edition of the game' DNA keys or not it was not included in the first edition like the one I have though the reason for it not being included in the first edition is still a mystery.

This ending is really ahead of its time. It's essentially a PSA reminding us to go outside and not to spend too much time with electronics. Given how there was a recent WildAid PSA hosted by Bryce Dallas Howard about rhino horns that tied in with the series (using a guest appearance by a Sinoceratops), maybe an update of this clip could air on television.

Tarkhun Fora I think part of the problem is that people think that it is okay to turn off your brain for a big blockbuster. But how about the Hollywood writers turn their brain on? The moment anyone suggested weaponized dinosaurs in a Jurassic World script, is the moment they should have gotten a different writer. Preferably one with a working brain. We should not excuse bad screenwriting so easily.

Pretty good advice. We can't spend all of our time on the Internet. It is a great tool, but we need to limit the time it takes to share our thoughts to an acceptable amount. One that is healthy and doesn't limit our development.
