For half the price, I was able to build it with Walmart stereo equipment and a 1000 W apple fire that includes everything. Don't forget it might be half the costs, but it's double the work. You gotta build it wire it and there's comes. Pre built pre-wired. If you know how to do it, you can do it for half the price. But if you don't just buy the recklesclaudio audio.

Danny, I also have a 2014 Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe. As you well know, the stock speakers are terrible on our bikes. I've been searching for a replacement fairing or changing out the current speakers and adding an amplifier using my phone as the player. You and I enjoy the handlebar push button control, and I'd rather keep that function. Did you ultimately purchase a different fairing and replace your stock one?

One speaker can handle 150 wats peak power couple of seconds. It debends what kind of amplifier you have inside the fairing!!!!

Hello, you are correct! We use a Rockford Fosgate TM400X4AD amplifier with the following specs: 100 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (400 watts peak) 100 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms 200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (bridged) The speakers we use in this set up are the PM262 PUNCH. The specs are: Power Handling (RMS)75 Watts RMS 150 Watts Max Nominal Impedance (Ohms)4-Ohm With this configuration between amp and speakers with their corresponding wattage and ohms, we are able to effectively ensure a great sound from the fairing.

What does it weigh? It must cause some imbalance up front, no?

The night fury is about 35LBS. Front end will feel a slight difference, similar to that of a street glide vs road king. Not a huge impact in our experience.
