Thank you! It’s funny you say that because up until recently I’ve never worked on my vehicles. A lot of this stuff is just a big Lego set 😂 and I would rather take the time and do it right myself rather than sending it to a shop where who knows how they will treat it. Man I’m patiently waiting for a company to release a single sided midpipe for the car. They sound the best with this motor in my opinion

The clearance is very tight to the alternator pully , has the intake rubbed on it?

My thought was the same regarding the throttle response being better🤔 because that was always the case after changing intake , i think this will largely benefit the manual as some are reporting a little turbo lag.

Not even close 😂 I own a marketing agency. On the “mechanic” side, the way I look at it is that it’s highly unlikely that other people are going to care and take as much time as I’m going to with my own vehicles. I also have a high standard for doing things the right way and not cutting corners. But that’s part of the fun right? Doing these things myself without prior knowledge so I can then make videos on it and help others do the same!

That was my thought as well. Pain in the ass if you have to disassemble the whole front, to clean and oil the filters

isn't it blocking a bit of airflow to the radiator causing the engine to heat up a bit more than usual?

These modern bmws do have amazing cooling, they literally never overheat. A Pro-League-Drifter has a tuned BMW G82 with like 1000hp and they still use the stock cooling system, becaufe of how amazing they work. In Skylines and Supras they would have to give a little less throttle after the first lap so that the car could cool down a bit, with the current G82 gen they go just all out.

Great question. Nothing happens. I have front mounted brakes on my G80 also and it’s never been an issue. I wash my cars weekly if not multiple times per week.

Buddy of mine had that overpriced cheaply made front mount intakes on his g82 , replaced them with Dinan after the first rain 😂 very stupid design not for rain
