Characteristically for Shorts, his coach Iisalo hardly calls any plays. Iisalo said yesterday that Shorts is much better at recognising which play to run - or which situation to take advantage of. Shorts has an extremely high basketball IQ. He rarely overpaces, when the team needs him, he is almost always there - with good decisions and very often with points.
