I love everything about your video! It is perfect in every way. I've watched it over and over - and over again. It is healing. Misty Blue reminds me so much of my baby I lost a year and a half ago. Looks and acts like her double. I love all your videos. They also represent great family life, and the music choices are great. Please make more!

Misty MUST be a distant relative of our Niles. They look alike, and THAT LOVEY DOVEY BEHAVIOR is a dead-ringer match. We got our Niles in December, not knowing anything about Whippets. He came from a county shelter. He's such a precious soul. What we thought was hilarious is that he's either doing 60 mph around the yard, or he's taking a nap. There doesn't seem to be any in-between speed. :-D

I’m trying to find a Whippet puppy but having a hard time of it. I lost my best buddy Gus to a wild animal about a month ago. Heart broken beyond reality. He was a 14 year old Jack russel. It’s heart warming to see that I’m not the only one who loves these creature so much.

omg, losing a pet is always horrible, but the way you lost Gus sounds really really traumatic. I'm so SO sorry for your loss!!! I hope you've been able to find a puppy since you posted this. There's sooo many dog/animal lovers in the world, and we can all deeply sympathize with losing one :(

They do say the boys are much more loving than the girlies, who can be quite aloof. Having said that, my girlie is the exception that proves the rule - a complete cuddle monster!

A whippet along with greyhounds and other sight hounds are sprinters and just like atheletes they have running spikes. They are the right length for this breed of dog....

@@maiwanda There are strict rules for lure coursing, like plastic muzzlers, clipped toenails, lycra shirt and wrapped paw spurs (or surgically removed). All this to minimize hurts in accidental contacts during the race. But if a dog runs enough during the day, its toenails don't need to be trimmed, 'cause the friction on the ground files the nails. Now, you don't need to have a racer dog to understand why a two inches toenail is dangerous and uncomfortable for a dog... just some common sense. My whippets run more than 10 km/day, everyday and the friction on the ground is enough to keep their toenails perfectly short.
