I watched the Disaster Movie, the lowest rated, and generally considered worst, movie ever. Disaster Movie is a movie about basically nothing. It claims its a movie that is parodying "disaster movies" but it doesn't, there is also no plot and it is not very funny

I remember reading a review for Disaster Movie that had one of the greatest burns I've ever seen. Here's what it said. "It would be too obvious to say that Disaster Movie lives up to its name, but why put more effort into trashing this movie than the directors put into making this movie?"

I remember when i watched this movie for the first time. I was like 13 or 14, and my mom and i went to the theater totally oblivious of just how bad it would be. It was very awkward when the dirty references came up. However, since we had such a good time talking trash about how bad it was on the way home, It has a place in my happy memories.

Note: The writers of this movie Did not write any of the scary movies (hence scary movie is actually funny) The reason there credited is because they made a small draft for a simular movie to scary movie but the script was so bad that the waynes brothers who made the first two bought the right to their script because it was so bad, so they bought it so it couldn't be made

Wow, I didn't even know I watched this as a kid. The ONLY thing that was vaguely familiar was Alvin and the Chipmunks with bloodshot eyes, ripping out the spine of someone.

Fun fact. When you said how they didn’t even now how parodies worked and they make no sense. Apparently there was a rumored where the directors of disaster movies and the others didn’t even watch the movies and just looked at production photos and told the crew to “make it look like that”

This movie, which I didnt know the name of for years, actually gave me nightmares because of the Alvin and the Chipmunks scene. Seeing them all rabied and shit was terrifying as a kid, and how they ate her spine. It had fucked me up good. Still getting chills lowkey 😂😂

I was 50-50 on whether or not I'd even seen this film before, but I must have because I definitely remember the Juno character, the mad princess and the crackhead chipmunks (also the "I'm fucking Matt Damon" song, though idk if this was a parody of that or is the actual song). It was all such a blurry mess I couldn't tell if it was familiar or not...certainly forgettable though.

I'm watching this after going down a waterslide, realizing my butt is exposed, hurting my arms on thebunpa while tryingto protect my bum, hearing the little kids behind me screaming and realizing this heading towards me, rolling over to belly, having a hard impact on the ground, and almost drowning after getting stampeded in the water by at least 6 to 7 kids. And I feel high now and yes, all of that happened.And that's why my typing is so bad. So thank you for helping me rst on the floor of the poll deck.

That dialogue reminds me on my stance at digimon adventure 02 10 year old me: my most favorite digimon season ever, I like this better than any later digimon seasons(including tamers) Around 15 years later: I hate 02(and more so on the sequels) for being only other anime-style fictional work(at least outside mundane ones) that got similar treatment to current seasons of Pokemon anime

Age of Ultron was kidna good according to me. I didn't like the relationship between Bruce and Nat and I didn't like that they killed off Pietro, but Wandas entrance to the MCU was great and Vision was also introduced in a good way.

Do you know what's the saddest thing? The directors admitted that *THEY DID THE MOVIE IN BASE OF THE TRAILERS* and not watching each movie. When you guys get asking "why is parody dead?", think about this: A studio gave them 20 million for a script that they wrote watching 360p trailers on the 2008 KZfaq.

It's been a hot minute. But I'd rather they only do it with Anna Faris, Regina Hall, the Wayans brothers, etc. Marlon Wayans did say he might go back and reboot the franchise since the Weinsteins are no longer owning the rights. So, either they come back and make a new R rated Scary Movie or let it rest.

The directors of Disaster Movie did not write Scary Movie at all, the only reason they are credited was because they had write a film with a similar premise, so the studio bought their script to avoid confusion, literally nothing they wrote made it into the final script of Scary Movie, and the reason they can make movies is because one of the directors dad has some sway in Hollywood

Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie were all coming out when I was in middle school. I saw them all with my friends and even at 14 I knew they weren't good. Thankfully I didn't waste money on Meet the Spartans, Vampires Suck, and whatever the last one was. I just remember they wrote the scripts full of references for the time that were already aged by the time the film hit theaters

That Speed Racer scene was what broke me. It truly, genuinely, honestly broke me with how unfunny it was, especially with Speed Racer being my favorite movie. Like, I genuinely didn't know I could have this much rage for a film until I discovered... *this.* The Michael Jackson joke at the end was just the fucking cherry on top. Fuck this movie.

The pregnant mom getting killed by demonic Chipmunks wasn't what crossed the line The brainless references after references back to back wasn't what crossed the line The sheer dryness and obvious cash grab this movie is isn't what crossed the line But... The scene where a princess shoots the protagonist of a mediocre movie is what makes you realize this movie is bad.

I was like 7 when I saw this with my mum. She said it wasn’t scary (which now I know it isn’t) but then, when Alvin and the chipmunks came on, I screamed 😂cried my eyes out and got rid of all my movies of them. I hated it. And till this day I never knew why I hated them so much and you just reminded me, this godawful movie

the highschool song parody at the beginning and the "fuc#ing" song at the end are unironically the best parts of the movie, at least to me, there are other funny and stupid moments like the dance battle with the princess stunt double that made me laugh like an idiot.

I remember being at a Church Youth Movie night when it was first on DVD and we watched this. We only made it to the bitter end of the movie, before the pastor finally gave up and asked if we wanted to switch to something else, to a resounding "yes". Switched to Horton Hears a Who....it was Citizen Kane in comparison.
