Scott I’m pretty sure you get better treasure drops when fishing in bigger bodies of water, something like 5x5x4 of source blocks all around. Idk exactly though just saw it in doomed cows video cause he did this exact rush.

@@scotteh yo, it makes a huge difference if you use a large body or ocean; but you can get better loot in ur situation by chucking the rod a bit further in to where the river gets deeper, i pulled a sharp 4 book with prot 4 from a river like u used but thrown deeper in. anyway LOVE the vids miss the old hypixel uhc days tho (i can't contest with melee on hoplite lmao 240 ms its toxic for solos)

you only get treasure drops when you have 5x5x4 water around the bobber. scotteh threw a few rods deeper into the river and pretty much got the bow 5th try

Yeah, they changed it a bit back to nerf fishing farms. I honestly completely forgot about that too

Great vid! Would love to see a Grimoire rush at some point. All you really need is to go looter and get lucky with four diamonds. The reason you go looter is because it gives you slimeballs, which you can use nether reactor core to get blaze powder to make the magma cream needed. From there it's pretty easy. Would love to see you rush it since I don't see many other people going for it.

Great vid Scot, just to say, on hoplite you can shear sheep for string just like hypixel so you don’t have to spend time searching for a mineshaft

If you did not know if you shear sheep it has a chance to drop string

You can easily get string by finding sheep. In this server, when you sheer sheep, they have a chance to drop string and its pretty common. I would do that to find your string instead of trying to find a mineshaft, etc.

Ive been using this tactic for a while now and you basically get an OP bow every game. I would definitely suggest this for new players.

ancient cities have on average 3 nothes each. Maybe midas at pvp= shap 20 midas? (20 obviously a placeholder number)

I’m constantly amazed by your consistent ability to take the worst losing positions and come out on top. There’s a lot of good players that could beat anyone in an arena but have no game sense. It’s not something you can teach :)

You could try an end bow rush using the looter kits gunpowder to make the nether reactor core which gets both blaze rods and the pearls

suggestion : when fishing, try to throw the rod at greater distance. it apparently gives better loot.
