That "ramper" was so close to engine one starting up! When I was a child and heading out on out first Coast to Coast I literally froze in about his same proximity...but the "Stewardess called my mother and sister to climb the stairway and took me right up under her arms and carried me up into the cabin! Wow, I still can hear that ROAR as the #1 Prop made only a mesmerizing circular blur.
