Just gonna say the casting for this show has been absolutely top drawer pretty much since day one. Always kinda wished we could get an episode that was just Lex, Lena, Alex and Kara stuck in a room with nothing to do but talk. Genuinely think those four would have pulled off something special (even if Lex may have ended up unconscious a few times).

“Three Luthors in the Oval Office: only in America.” I think the writers meant that line as a ‘America is the only country corrupt enough to have Luthors in power.’” Which - fine, in that sense I agree. But of course only only in America could three Luthors be in the Oval Office: the United States is where the Oval Office is located. Yes, only in America could that happen because -- oh, never mind.

I think that the first half of your comment makes sense and the whole “oval office” part was simply because that’s literally where they are and it can be a replacement for any place of power.

Yeah, she had a pretty messed up way of showing it, but it was evident that Lillian did love Lena. I wish the show would’ve carved out more time to rebuilding their relationship instead of smashing it all into one final scene because I really did enjoy their scenes.

I still stanby my interpretation that in Earth Prime, Lillian didn't hate Lena even tho she's a product of cheating. (Like her and Lionel was just an arrange marriage some sort. no love). It's more like she pitied Lex & Lena against each other so they'll always do best. In her mind she sees it as training so Luthors will be best of the best. And also for Lena not to inherit her bio mom's witch powers. But she loves both children in her own twisted way.
