I’m surprised Jerry didn’t confirm with Kramer that his apartment was off-limits, since Kramer goes in there all the time. But it makes for one of the funniest episodes of the series.

Julia did a spectacular job in the scene with Mr. Mandel. She was just brilliant. And what made it even more hilarious was that Elaine remembered word for word everything Kramer had told her earlier. Just brilliant.

There's a deleted scene where Newman tells Jerry how he got fleas after being chased by a dog while doing his route. The reason why Newman was running away from the dog that Kramer released is because it was the same dog that gave Newman fleas.

They are a play on Harry & David's (huge & sweet) Royal Riviera Pears... which are to die for. It's these pears that are ALWAYS sold out. They only grow in southern Oregon -- in ideal conditions. They are shipped by MAIL. ( Newman! ) You can't pick them up at your green grocer. The entire Harry & David empire rides atop their pears. They branched out.

I was looking at Mr Mandel in that last scene with Elaine and he was very familiar but I couldn't place him. I had to look him up. Brits of my generation will recognize him at Lt Gruber from 'Allo 'Allo. Guy Siner.
