Cool bike! How much does a bike like this weigh in kilograms or so, size "L" assembled?

It would depend greatly on what parts you decide to put on it. You could probably build it from 15-18kg depending on whether you want lightweight or downhill performance. The frame weighs 3.9kg, so pretty typical for an alloy enduro frame.

They use 6066-T6. This is a very common grade for welded aluminum parts.

@@brandonb6164 Isn't 7000 series or something stronger? Propably not so weldable then I guess, I don't know much about the topic. I would come to expect the highest quality of alumium...

@@hannes6114 You are correct that 7000 series is stronger. 7075 which is the most common 7000 series is not weldable. Nicolai bikes uses 7020 which is weldable, but more challenging to work and much more expensive. Generally, 6000 series is ideal for most applications including many in aerospace. Definitely will not make a difference practically.
