Most forklifts today use multiple hyd pressure. Each function has its own setting. You may have a problem with main valve pressure relief. Since it's been adjusted previously maybe backing off.will need to disassemble and check as for disappearing oil may not have been up to spec from beginning or lost it when cab section was ripped off. More to story. Did what you had to do get machine back in service.

Great attitude mate, I would definitely look into getting gauges, a full turn on a relief valve can be quite a pressure difference, would be good to see how much you are adjusting things just in case, all fixed Well done bud

The adjust facing upwards is the tilt and side shift adjust screw if you screwed it out you set the pressure lower not higher usually they get a bit of shit behind the prv cone as they don’t fit micro filters in the tank just gause filters which now makes the control valve a very expensive filter best to change the oil regular this has cut down on the issues we have had with these and wouldn’t be surprised if the oil was always low and it needs checking with the mast completely on the floor and level

That looked to be the pressure relief valve you adjusted I suspect you backed it off slightly there by screwing it out, id suspect a bit of dirt or some fileings had got temporarily lodged in the wee ball-bearing inside and moving the screw maybe let it threw hopefully the filter sorted it out wen it got back to the tank

Strange job alright. Probably worth investing in a pressure gauge though, better than working blind! Keep on struggling and smiling mate. 👍

I've had the same issue and the same solution on a doosan. I ended up putting the valve back to its original position and it carried on working fine. Suspect it was just muck causing the valve to stick and just the action of moving it freed it off. Thats a Chinese Still based on a Heli. Cheap junk.

I reckon the fluid wasn't full when she was built.

Just be careful adjusting the main pressure relief valves you could end up blowing a valve block up Anyway great video mate keep up the hard work

Hi Chris, another crazy episode and on a Friday ! Luck was on your side with that fork lift. It shows what a small adjustment can make on that block and I'm glad you eventually sorted it.
