This video showcases the many treasures of the Micronesian island of Kosrae which is located halfway between Guam and Hawaii in the middle of the great blue Pacific Ocean. Kosrae offers the dream of sunny, unspoiled beaches, caressed by crystal waters and deep blue skies. Vivid green is the color of it's tropical mindscape and calm is the color of it's fragrant refreshing air..On beautiful Kosrae, pleasure calls in the smiles of its gracious people, in the lure of its sea for fishing and play, and most of all in its restful, scenic way of life. Rich in historical sites and ruins, this jewel of Micronesia was a favorite haven of pirate Bully Hayes.

Len wo! I spent 6 wonderful months here in 99-2000 with one of the CAT teams as their medic. This was one of the most amazing places I have ever been and could have stayed longer. I made many friends and was treated so well. We were here during Christmas and had the honor of experiencing the opening of the new Church and the tradition of family returning for the holidays every 5 years. My CAT team put together a huge Halloween haunted house for the kids that year and they had such a great time! There was a little Catholic church next to our camp and I was fortunate to produce the children in acting out the Christmas Nativity. KVR is a great place and the SCUBA diving is awesome, with at least 70-120 ft visibility in most places. I would like to visit again sometime on my own. Kulo malalap!

I really like kosrae beautiful land and the tropical forest but most of all the people i love my micronesian islands.

I always wondered about this place my friend primo is from here . I always thought men from Kosrae kinda stood out from other Micronesian men as they work hard and carry them selves in a sort of manner . Iam sure I will visit this very interesting place one day god bless this island

My children are Kosraean and Mexican. We’ve never visited but dream of going someday soon. My children’s mother is full Kosraean and her family is from the village of Lelu. Her family’s lineage is from the Abraham and Nena bloodline.

Kosrae needs more of this kind of videos Small advertisements can help bring big business to the island And open our lands for foreign business is something left under the mat not brought up on government talbe. Marketing is not only for one place goods sending out but to open one place for foreign business to built or share the economy for fair trades

Unless you have family there you would have to buy land from people to actually have a place to stay(you could stay at an apartment though). OR and hear me out, some outsiders that came to the island years ago married either a daughter or the son of the locals and inherited some of their land. There is this American lady that still lives there to this day. Or you could come volunteer and teach at the college or Highschool and you'll be paid by the government to stay here until your contract ends and in that time you could find a partner and settle down. The crime rate here is nearly Zero, people here are polite to each other and visitors from outside and you could explore the place. But if all this sounds too much, you could simply come and visit as a tourist. I've lived there my whole life and I can confidently say that you will love it there.
