this card was mean't to be suport to the yusho performapal strategy, he is yuya's dad in arc-v anime and he plays a different style of performapal than his son, he also didn't have pendulums because he disapeared years before yuya ever "created" that summoning method. Yes it does have magician girl in name but even on DMG, the magician girl is just there to specify a female magician, it is even possible the translation is wrong and the card dosn't have magician girl in the name at all when it is released.

Pendulum monsters in the pendulum zone are their own type of spell, even if they work the same as continuous spells they are still considered as pendulum spells and not continuous.

@@gab4198 no they are not pendulums are continuous spells while in the pendulum zones no matter what, thats why cards like anti magi arrows and magical spring was so good in mr3 format and even today with cards like selene and spell counter cards that counts when they are activated and already face up as continuous spells

@@josephmiller2958 don't get me wrong, they are indeed treated as spells while in the pendulum zones but it is not considered a Normal, Continuous, Field, Equip, Quick-Play, or Ritual Spell Card. staying on field dosn't mean it is a continuous spell/trap card, we also have field and equip spells that stay on field and can have similar uses, sometimes even work the same as a continuous spell BUT they are a different type of spell card. Swords of revealing light is another example, it was printed before continuous spells were a thing, so it works just like one while being a normal spell. performapal sky magician girl dosn't look for a spell card face up on the field to special summon, at least with the current translation it is worded in a way it needs a spell ofto continuous type to be face up on the field, not just any spell. All cards you listed work on pendulum cards because they work against any spell and they are indeed spells while in the pendulum zone, although anti-spell fragrance and cards like the new diabellze in fact kill pendulum decks, because you can't play spell cards without seting them first and pendulum monsters can't be set on the pendulum zones, so you just can't play them as scales anymore.
