@@horrificreader4084 Tim was confirmed to be bi or pansexual a few episodes back I think, when Jon was talking about how Tim was getting information from his flings at the police, one of whom was a womean and one a man. I don't think there has been any clear statement about Jons or Basiras sexuality at this point, but I could be wrong.

also just a random thought, maybe jon knows that sasha is indeed the most suspicious at the work rn but a huge flaw in his character seems to be denial -- like him forcefully applying logic to every single statement because he's scared. he's probably deflecting his suspicions of sasha to cope :(

Also it seems that before he would confide in Sasha the most. He would vent to her in earlier episodes unlike with his other coworkers and it looks like he appreciates her opinion more than the others'. And in the end of the season one episode when he smashed the wall, in that conversation and he seemed totally off gaurd with her. Like he is just naturally open and loose around her. I don't think he wants to lose that, especially now that he feels he can trust no one and he knows he's being lied to by someone. Also his life may be on the line so thats alot too

im almost 100% sure that its for the stabbing, im not totally certain that the worms would even require physical therapy and even if they did its been multiple months and we can only assume hes mostly healed from that whole debacle

Jonah Magnus again! I'm looking forward to hearing more about this guy and the creation of the Magnus Institute. But listening to this makes me suspicious. If the Institute was created after this letter, then it means Magnus knew Smirke's architecture was weird and that choosing this site to build his Institute would have paranormal, probably dangerous consequences. Hmmm.

The Institute was built in 1818 and the letter was in 1841, so it was already stablished.

Idol, as in an object of infatuation, usually used to refer to something one is *not* supposed to be infatuated with. Think, "false gods" from the old testament's description of idols. In the context of the work house and the way these men revere the moral affects of "work," an idol would be something one would do or appreciate more than work and would actively avoid working in favor of the idol. I assume the governer, or whoever that short, wide figure was, caused this Henry's death because Henry was revering idols instead of work.

Honestly, aside from being hilarious, it might even be a good cover story to pretend to be sleeping with the police officer. I constantly feel like Jon is on the verge of being discovered, and this is an easy lie, so idk… it might be good. gods, I feel for Jon so hard in this one - I'm ace too, and generally very open with people, and I make sure I act friendly and interested with new people in a way that registers to them (my neurodivergence can make me come off as rude, and I've got resting murder face, so I make sure I'm smiling so ppl don't think I'm angry at them) This has, unfortunately, led a LOT of people to think that I'm flirting. Either with them or someone else. And when you get embarrassed while denying the claim, people just think you're lying, and then you eventually have to kinda put it out there that you're _definitely_ not interested before they back off or drop the subject, but you don't just wanna tell a random stranger or new coworker that you're queer, and sometimes they think you're lying about _that_ too bc they've never heard of it or think you MUST be straight bc you were "obviously flirting", and aaahhhh
