This is a "walk like you" kinda song to me Clearly this guy is an antagonist who thinks he's THE shit, but isn't really an *evil* antagonist

the amount of personality this song has is unbelievable. Will Wood should be more recognized for his work and its so clear that he put in so much effort for this masterpiece.

My hot take is that this reminds me of villain protagonists and antagonists who are evil but think of themselves as the heroes, usually with an emphasis on meta (the two specific examples this song reminds me of are a guy who doesn't have a literal 4th wall awareness but insists that he's the hero more in the metaphorical sense and claims that everyone else is a scum and the actual villain. And the other has actual meta awareness and puts an emphasis on the narrative and bending it in a way that allows him to be the protagonist/hero (he seems to believe these are the same thing, but obviously he's wrong. While he IS in fact the protagonist of one of the games, he is still the villain), he keeps going on and on about how he's the saviour and the protagonist and if the narrative dies he'll just get a different one, etc, he literally argues with the narrator several times.)

This gives off the "Villain that thinks they're a hero" vibe. Think Light Yagami from Death Note or Thanos from Marvel. Only to realize (Through one way or another) that they are, indeed, the villain
