Andrew Morgan pointed out that it’s the same Vaucher movement that’s in the £20,000 Parmigiani Tonda. At £53,000 (for the Steel!!!) It’s also a machine finished movement, and most of that is on a plate above the movement. Also if you ask me, the 6 o’clock shape looks wrong without a sub seconds or tourbillon there. This one’s a miss sorry.

First, love the video it was well done. The watch is beautiful and unique. At that price point there are many options. I think this watch is more elegant than sporty but the design is great and such a juxtaposition versus what many believe Genta is known for that made him the legend he is. However, those that know, do know he was so much more than the integrated bracelet. For those in the comments talking about the Rolex Sub being the 1st sports watch….well one could argue the reverso precedes that and it was used for Polo. Or even the Cartier Santos preceding that. I believe what Christian is saying, is that Genta created the first sports watch that has defined the Genre that has dominated the watch world for the past half Century.

This is video is phenomenal in quality and form. I’ll watch any and all in this style that you crank out (I’m mindful that these are bigger in budget and time!). But…. I personally do not like the watch. Just my opinion/taste, lack of symmetry is tough for me to get past.

Genta invented the integrated bracelet steel sports watch. Rolex invented the steel sport watch, which was then copied by Blancpain.

CZ. T4YC. Glad you're happy. To me it looks like a french baroque ormolu mirror frame. It's not simple or clean. It's clumsy and too busy on the eye. It's self indulgent, and a little immature? I think Genta was well past his best when he penned this design. Sadly the World's greatest artists, have painted very poor pictures.
