Nice interview, I laughed when he said "Bulldog" instead of "Bullfrog" :))

I loved 3DO so much I almost defined myself by it... I tried to be the #1 game collector in the US when I was in high school and topped out at almost 200 games... Even now I have multiple 3DOs and proud of the rarer games I have, and still continuously get more! It truly represents a milestone in my life, including how I was always a bit different compared to those around me who wouldn't understand what I like 😅

Very professional interviewing. Didn't flip out at the long winded paise of micro-transactions, and didn't fall asleep. Well done.

This man is a true visionary. EA on his watch was nothing like the soulless corporate monster it is today.

Trip is an absolute legend and a genuinely nice guy. I'm still saddened the 3DO and M2 never evolved. I truly believe the convergence that everyone including myself was speaking about at the time would have happened by now if 3DO had succeed. During the initial M2 unveiling I and the VGA team met Trip and Co in NYC for the conference. It blew our minds 😁 I really think EA would have been better in the long run if Trip had stuck around. I'm still the proud owner of my launch day 3DO, and yes, Road Rash 3DO and NFS are the best versions of those games.
