+TimTube With a lot of work! I'm sure you know the Volvo ad with Van Damme, it's the same prinple: They have to edit every single frame of the video and cut out the poles and sticks with a picture editing software.

I think the camera positions could be either fixed or reproducible by a camera on a track, so they can film it completely without the bike and then defining for everyframe what from the frame with the bike to include in the frame without the bike.

+Janmm14 Indeed, everything is shot with a camera that doesn't move. Then they remove the poles with a metod called rotoscoping: they cut them out. This doesn't have to be every frame, could also be every second, third, fourth, ..., ...

+Hexivoid Just search for "autonomous bike" or "self balancing bike"/"self balancing bicycle" to see what +xaedes is meaning. The concept of a Google Autonomous Bike can work, but it needs a gyroscope or a sort of pendulum to keep it straight. An autonomous bike with three wheels is already there.
