I'm glad you put this video on KZfaq because I've found so little material about this ride on the Internet I had nearly believed that I'm the only person on the planet who remembers that it existed.

I got to go on this once. It was during my first of two visits to SeaWorld San Diego. I was somewhere between 6 and 8 years when I rode it. What I remember most about Mission: Bermuda Triangle is the end when we resurfaced after the mission (I think I had my eyes closed for parts of the ride because I was so scared). Watching this just brings back memories about my first visit to SeaWorld. I have not been to a SeaWorld park since my second visit in 1997 when I was 10.

Thanks for uploading this. Brings back so many childhood memories. This was my favorite ride at SeaWorld. The ride commercial is even included! I remember being disappointed because the loading area looked nothing like the commercial. You didn't stand on a big circle which would light up when you stepped on it. I remember the Reef scene on the ride being off-scale and disproportional. The fish and coral where bigger than they were supposed to be. You could tell they filmed the scene with a diver holding a small camera. I was very disappointed when they changed this ride to Wild Arctic..

I wasn't even born yet :( I hope they remaster wild Arctic or make a new ride...

I wish I could have ridden this, but I did not start going to Sea World until this was replaced by Wild Arctic.

I was only 7 when I first rode on Mission: Bermuda Triangle with my Dad. I was terrified into thinking water was leaking into the submerged vessel because it happened in-between some parts of the ride (the ceiling had water spraying out from it once or twice). (@ 16:32) Laserdisc technology? That is old-school. They've used it many times in BTTF: The Ride at Universal as well. I miss the 90s...

I went on this on my first trip to Sea World Orlando. Back then they called the Sea Turtle attraction "Manatees: The Last Generation?" and the Shark Wreck Reef was called "Terrors of the Deep".
