Often when I see these custom made couture wedding dresses from famous designers I think “such a flaunt of wealth for people who don’t understand how lucky they are”. It’s definitely one of those 1% vs 99% things that can really annoy people. But you handle the situation so differently. You really respect the fact that you are in a privileged position, you respect the designers and all the effort that they put into it, that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you don’t take it for granted. It made me think “if anyone deserves this, it’s Karlie”. Thank you for your continued humility and kindness, people in your position often lose that at some point, but you never have, and I think that is the reason so many people look up to you, of course as well as your brilliance, hard work, and determination.

The fact that i have seen you since the first debut show you were ever in for Calvin and all of the sudden opening for Dior for 2/3 years in in every single show and went to Prom in Dior and Oscar De La Renta and now getting married, and THE FACT THAT WE ALMOST SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY, i was born on August 18th the same year, i am gonna cry!
