People in Japan sit at their desks for 16 hours a day and die in their sleep in their twenties and thirties, just to survive. They're just not third world, that's why there's no hue and cry. You do what you need to do to earn. They're given masks, uniforms and a clean room to work in. Better than a lot of scenarios.

Most people playing the "mass-production card" doesn't realize the bread/muffin they eat every day was been made in the same way, and the working condition for a baker (in western country) is worse, at least these pandora's workers have a seat and paid well comparing with other local labours in Ti. So why you still eat muffin/bread then think you are in place to accuse the company like Pandora? Work is work.

What’s the difference from Asians to the rest of the people? I lived in Thailand and Japan and they have SUCH an immense level of discipline! They work without complaining and work because that’s what you do in order to live. They are sooooo interested on learning and putting all of their effort in everything they do for personal and professional growth without thinking “how much do they pay?” Maybe that’s the origin of the phrase: “no matter how good you are in what you do, there will always be an Asian that does it better”... how many times I’ve seen people doing mediocre work because “if they want more then pay me more” when what they are doing is such a shitty thing that it is not even worth a penny. Discipline. Period

There is a lot of work put into this jewelry and I’m very impressed by their work. Even though these workers might not get paid enough and companies sell for a high price, I have to politely disagree with the people that are saying that u should stop buying from these companies that don’t pay workers enough. If people stop buying from the companies, they can run out of business and these people will lose their jobs. I say that people who want these products/can afford these products should buy them regardless. Trying to “teach the company a lesson” isn’t going to make the price go down really. If anything, they will lay people off and overwork them. That’s just the way things are. And when people from first world countries look at these hard workers, we see abuse but in actuality, they tend to be more content, more grateful, and happier than people from first world countries because they know what they have and grateful for what they have. We live in luxury and should be thankful for what we have. If u want to see a company’s price go down, it’s best to convince from inside the company rather than “going on strike” on their products. Hopefully my opinion makes sense lol :D
