As part of the Department of Political Science's programing at Duke University, Gordon Wood will be discussing his work on early American government building. This event is made possible by a grant from the Jack Miller Center for Teaching America's Founding Principles and History.
Gordon Wood is the Alva O. Way University Professor and Professor of History Emeritus at Brown University. Wood received a Pulitzer Prize in History in 1993. Wood's research focuses on America's revolution and founding histories.
