It was James’s appearance on the JRE podcast that answered all of my doubts and set me on the path to following a WFPB diet. (I’m a 50 year old woman who’s been overweight my entire life.) The Game Changers was phenomenal and has and will continue to impact the world. Thank you!

@keto cycler chill... if you hate a group of people for a dietary choice, then you really hit the bottom man... Also, it's worth mentioning that your username really doesn't hide how biased you are lol

Thoroughly enjoyed the interview and, as one who had heard the film was coming and had been so frustrated with the wait, it was definitely worth the wait! So thrilled to see it mentioned so often in my FB timeline from people who had not been previously plant based but who decided to go in that direction BECAUSE of the film. Personally, I had dinner a couple of weeks ago at the request of a friend who wanted help in going plant based, but she told me that neither her husband nor her parents, all of whom would be at the dinner, were interested AT all (who, in fact, were resistant to the idea). I told her my "price" for the dinner was that we would all watch Game Changers together after dinner. We did...I controlled the remote, and during the film they would often interrupt with questions, so I'd stop the film to discuss their questions. At the end of the film, ALL of them were enthused about being plant based and were OUTRAGED at how much they'd been lied to by industry and the medical community. I was quick to point out that, by and large the medical community is not the enemy...they'd been deceived as well. THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT FILM and helping to spread this life-saving word!

I can relate to feeling lied to. I was close to 500 pounds so sick I couldn't even get weightloss surgery. Doctors and nutritionists never shared the benefits of a plant based vegan lifestyle to honest they have no clue about its incredible benefits. Forks over Knives and What the Health transformed my life! I dont do stupid portion cortrol I eat fiber now and I'm always full what a concept, great blood pressure now and 175 pounds gone, whole plant foods is the key! Game Changers crushes the protein strength myth.

James Wilks did an incredible job and I believe people are saying James Wilks was to aggressive because hes telling then facts they dont wanna hear. Alot of people dont wanna change until they have to. The good news is it seems like alot of people do wanna change and this documentary really was a "Game Changer".

Fantastic interview.. game Changers will change the paradigm even more than the other related documentaries. I was at the Vegan community for a month before leaving for New Zealand in 2006 and I was in the garden with Keegan, the creator of the Film "Forks Over knives" He was originating the embryo of the movie and we talked about the potential...then he actually followed through....But there is something about your film that will transform many lives..in a unique manner

Yup, I think The Game Changers has already changed the game for lots of folks. Do you mean Keegan Kuhn? I believe he was one of the creative forces behind Cowspiracy and What the Health, right?

I think James did great. Maybe not combative enough given the circumstance! Attacking Chris' credibility is not Ad Hominem. That is the skill of a good debater. Chris should not be giving nutritional advice at any level. I hope James keeps learning and doing more debates. Great job.
@sarajin4 жыл бұрын
"Vegan" only says what you don't eat. I have no clue what he eats on a regular basis and neither do you. I notice that this is one of the new arguments that is being used against him, instead of trying to debate the arguments. I mean Chris Kresser has a masters in accupuncture and is an anti-vaxxer. That basically means he'll believe any ol' shit that falls into his lap.
@sarajin4 жыл бұрын
One picture of a grocery haul says nothing about what they eat on a regular basis and if all you can do to debate the arguments he put forth is to bring up him eating vegan junk food, that is a big win for James. I just mention Chris' complete lack of knowledge on the subject to counter James "Only eating Vegan junk food". James pointed out his lack of qualifications about nutrition on the podcast and still managed to hand Chris his ass because Chris actually knows almost nothing about nutrition. James at least spent 3000+ hours reading the literature has plenty of knowledge on the subject and it showed. Chris just parrots conclusions that he can find to support whatever nonsense he is peddaling. Big difference.
@sarajin4 жыл бұрын
I know everybody can lie, but normally when a person spends 3000+ hours studying the literature they don't also say they are not qualified and would rather someone else be there. But again, none of this matters. You can't debate the real argument so you spend your time diverting to things that don't matter.

So, apparently you never bothered listening to the Rogan podcast, where this is mentioned like in the first 15 minutes. Keep spreading your lies, it's all you got.

James Wilks is definitely not vegan. He ate Kresser alive on Joe Rogan. He was completely helpless as James takes him apart piece by piece.

The science consensus still recommends some seafood like anchovies, sardines for omega 3.
@duarte43104 жыл бұрын
That's true. However (it is not mentioned in the movie), once again, fish are just the "middle men" when it comes to omega3. Their omega3 comes from sea algae that they eat during their lifetime, and we can get it directly by eating algae (and therefore avoiding harmful things like cortisol and cholesterol that are present in sea animals) . Although algae are not very readily available at stores, it is very important to add them to our diet. Hopeful in the future we will see a bigger commerce of algae :) Anyways, make sure you get your omega3 either from algae or fish
