I still remember when Air India were planning on buying or leasing the 787-9 but they decided to scrap the plans to as they were to be sold off. Now India has got its wishes a shinny new 787-9 from Vistara hope they order the 787-10 as well as the 777X’s to

Damnnn. It's the most beautiful Indian 787. First Indian aircraft to have onboard wifi. Looks lovely, will definitely make us proud. Kudos to @Boeing and @Vistara for the hard work. Can't wait to fly on it! Love aviation and this is a gamechanger in the Indian aviation industry 🔥🔥🔥

Love this Airline! Travelled from Chennai to Kolkata it was amazing! Excellent service staff were very polite and friendly. Was a short flight but still got a lovely hot breakfast! Worst is Indigo!

Yes probably the best airline now in India...I also got free inflight Wi-Fi on this aircraft which was so unexpected...from LHR to IGI...Forget about Indigo.... our national carrier Air India....so bad service, I really don't expect so bad service from a National Carrier...

Travelled on vistara for just 1 time and I was so impressed by the service! Definitely better than IndiGo. Once I was traveling in IndiGo and when I boarded, there was no welcome and when I left, the flight attendants were talking to each other instead of saying bye to the passengers.

I had travelled in the Boeing dreamliner, it was magical the experience was really good. In other aeroplanes, the overall sound that creeps in when you travel in other airlines was really more, infact we used earplugs. But in Dreamliner it was very comforting in comparison.

@riot Manufacturing cost for the B787 is more than the A350 because about 50% of the airplane is made from composite materials. That is why the Delta fleet have A350s instead of B787s. However, the B787 has a relatively low operating cost if it flies mid-range routes like Delhi-Colombo or Delhi-Singapore. The direct rival to the A350 is the B777X, but the B787 has a class of its own. It’s a class of affordable luxury and unmatched quality.

@soham AirBus A350-900 passenger capacity 325(3class) Range (15000km) cost around 308.1million USD and clear all safety regulation and no history of accident and Very spacious even in Economy class. Where as B787-9 passenger 280( 3class) range (14140km ) Cost (264.6million) and safety records multiply time grounded due to fire by battery on Nippon Air. TINTED window can’t save yourself form early morning sunrise you can’t sleep proper due to sun. But both are advance Airplane and both are big saving in fuel cost.

@@DrSRMallick Air India has 27 Boeing 787-8 planes. Jet Airways ordered 10 boeing 787-9 aircraft in 2016 but they didnt delievered it. Now jet airways company is collspsed. Vistara is the second Airlines who get Boeing 787 and Spicejet will be third. They also order Boeing 787.
