Wow! 75% of my travel research is conducted on KZfaq because I’m a visual learner. This is hands down the best Maldives video on this platform. Descriptive, detailed with beautiful people of color but displaying the culture, food, and variety of islands is what truly set this video apart. I travel for more than photos & beaches so I’ve put the Maldives off. It looked like a place that would get boring after a couple of days for a solo traveler and I didn’t want to spend thousands to be bored. You literally changed my view. Excellent job!

Yall had a very authentic experience. Like yall did more than just stay on the islands like I see so many people do through their pics and videos. I thought the Maldives was boring prior to this video. I love how yall explored the locals who live there, had dinner with them, played basketball with them, tried new foods❤️ Amazing trip and very informative. Two Maldives trips in the bag at the moment and cannot wait for the first in September. We always travel between May and September. The prices are quite often half what you would pay in peak season. The sea and air temperature are much the same but you may get a day or 2 with rain. No big deal. Normally pay just over 4k with seaplane and all inclusive for both of us for 2 weeks. From the UK its not much more than the price of a Caribbean trip

American here. My Wife is Maldivian. Maldives is my second home. The nuts you were chewing are called "Fou" in Dhivehi (pronounced Ff-oh). They're areca nuts wrapped in betel leaf, sprinkled with cinnamon. Customarily eaten at the end of every meal as a pallete cleanser.
