I felt so bad for the wife in this matter. Her husband is possessed, her kid came back and still a little weirdo from trauma and now she out here getting slapped up by a whole ghost.

The Malice of Mother Mortis sounds like a great Horror title lol

Something a lot of younger (than me) people don't realize is that Barbara Hershey was in a movie called The Entity back in the 70/80's era about a woman being assaulted and brutalized by an unseen force. It was based on a true story. The woman and her children eventually moved away from their home, only to find that it followed them and now she plays the grandmother in this series. It's like a tribute to that story in a way. Also, it's a pretty good horror flick. You would have to edit some scenes that are... sexual in nature (and involve the R word), but you would be the first person I have seen do a reaction to it.

“Very impressive…even though I’m sick to my stomach watching every frame” That sums up these movies so well! This instalment was such a trip, so spooky. Loved your reaction, “Speak up wig!” needs to be merch hahaha

"Please state your name, age, gender, and desire to kill!" 😂 I personally didn't care for the Norman Bates / Mommie Dearest drag aspect, but it's still a creative follow-up to Insidi-uno, that throws a bunch of ideas into the mix. And while I still prefer the simplicity of the first one, the franchise as a whole cements Lin Shaye's status as a horror icon. Just so captivating whenever she's onscreen. Even tho these movies wrack you, I really enjoy your commentary as always, and patiently await for you to watch more.

I find it so scary how the bride in black acted like Josh I think after Josh forgotten his power the bride in black was always watching him and knew how to act like him

I remember seeing 16:30 in the theatres and the “DONT YOU DARE” slap had EVERYONE losing their minds I saw it at a free screening before release and it had a slightly different ending. You legit see “shadow people” behind the girl at the end with Elise.

I feel like I can watch ANY scary film as long as Alanda is there, her personality is so comforting! 😂

I laughed every time you called the old woman, Miss Havisham! Best reaction ever. The next two movies weren’t that good, but excited to see Chapter 5 which revisits the Lambert family 10 years later.

I'm just glad that Barbara Hershey (who plays the grandmother) managed to survive the movie because I've always liked her. BTW, I've rented all four of these on dvd and even though 3 & 4 are different they are still very good.

This is my favorite of the franchise. It went above and beyond what a sequel is required to do and I will love it forever for that. I love this one just as much as the original. It goes completely off the rails into total craziness and I loved it. Chapters 3 and 4 are good too but I missed the Lamberts. So glad they're returning for chapter 5.

An interesting fact about INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 (2013) Insidious: Chapter 2 was partly filmed at a supposedly Haunted Hospital named Linda Vista Hospital it was an abandoned hospital that was closed in 1991 and is rumored to be haunted. In my opinion, the first two Insidious movies are some of the best ghost and possession horror has to offer. As for the following movies, I can't quite remember how I felt about them. I remember watching the third but don't remember anything other than that it was a prequel following Lin Shaye's character with a different family. I think that I thought it wasn't as good as the other two but that may just be because the first two were too good. I think I watched the beginning of the 4th one but I think I stopped watching for whatever reason, but I know it still followed Lin Shaye so idk why I did. I think the Lambert Family Duology was so good, I thought the sequels weren't worth watching without them. I'm extremely excited for the 5th one coming out this Friday (My B-day 🎉) because it returns to them years after the Parker and Dalton incidents.
