► Watch Drew Bezanson rip the 'Uncontainable' course that Nate built: win.gs/UncontainableDL
Some of the biggest advances in action sports have happened on ramps Nate Wessel designed and built. (Ever heard of a little event called the X-Games?) His signature riding -- and gnarly, go-for-it style -- fueled his fire when it came to his designs. Wessel comes at all his projects with unparalleled insight, knowledge, and skills to help make those firsts a reality.

I remember being 13 years old and cutting out pictures of Nate Wessel and stapling them to my wall. Mind I am 31 and ever day I wonder why I stopped riding. Watching this really reminds me of the fun times I used to have on my bike and building trails.

I feel you guys, I'm 31 this year as well. I remember reading one of his interviews back in the day, I think it was in "RideBMX" shortly after he started building ramps professionally. He was talking about walking into a dodge dealer and he told them he wanted the biggest, baddest truck they had and they looked at him like he was a joke because of his crazy hair and stuff. Then he whipped out a handful of cash and they all straightened right the hell out lol. Him and Vic Murphy were two of my biggest influences growing up riding. True street/dirt diehards that just inspired the hell out of me to ride anything and everything in front of me.

Wow.....just wow. I remember watching the uncontainable video the day it dropped. I was mind blown!! I always wondered though, who thought of that? Who build it? Same goes for Pastranaland....who's the brilliant mastermind behind all this craziness?! Now we know! Also major props 🤛 for your simple session designs! I love watching simple session every year!

I've had the opportunity to meet Nate and Ron, and they're both such a down to earth guys. Their careers obviously shows how creative they are. I used to watch them in old BMX videos. I practically fanboy'éd out when I saw them both at Woodward PA during the off season while on a trip with a previous sponsor to shoot a video at the camp and advertise their upcoming summer program. It was an honor to meet them both.

I first saw wessel in a road fools video from the late 90s early 2000s I can't exactly remember but it was a video tape that's how long ago it was. But Nate was at this one park and he just hucks it out of some bowl or something full speed and onto some building at this park. It was amazing to watch then and I'm glad he was able to keep building and creating amazing stuff.

I'm fuckin struggling to find reliable honest employers, been down. But this really inspired me to get out there and make it happen. This is why we live for the passion and progression of raw adrenaline sports.

Being from northeast Ohio, it's rare to get any exposure that doesn't have to do with LeBron James or the Cleveland Browns being more terrible than before. Watching this video was absolutely thrilling. Knowing that Nate built every skatepark I progressed in since I was 10 years old and seeing him getting the exposure and respect he deserves is awesome. Action sports wouldn't be where it is today without Nate Wessel and Scott Powell starting it all with Chenga and Chenga 57, and I'm lucky enough to say I spent countless hours at both of them. This video kicks some serious ass and I'd love to see a full length feature.
