When I saw all those old white hair/bearded men and the other men singing, it reminded me of ancient times, probably changing little in 2000 years.

Great story!! I'd like to ask you if there's a little girl in that place and I loved it! I ask it to you because I know girls are not supposed to be in that kind of meetings. Sorry for my English. Todá!

Young girls under the age of maybe eight or nine can be with their male relatives in the men's part of the shul. When they get a little older, they will go upstairs to the ladies' section. I hope this helps.
