The sheer size of his brachialis and biceps was unbelievable. A lot of people thought his pics were altered to look as such. I hope someone comes up with a way to measure the power output exerted at a true ready go by both athletes simultaneously and individually. Those would be some seriously interesting numbers for sure.

And still took everything Liliev had to win 3:2. He got schooled by Denis just the year prior and the year after this fight however so there's no doubt he would've lost under normal circumstances

@@scottwarren4998 It's just another strategy to gain leverage I guess. You notice a lot of armwrestlers twist their body and push with their foot on the leg of the table for extra leverage. If they were to enforce any new rule, it should be anti doping. Not everyone likes to juice but most do it because they feel they have to go keep up. Not exactly fair

In super-matches, Arsen lost handily to guys like Denis and Andrey. Also, that was Andrey before he was, well, the unbeatable Andrey. In a tournament format? Oh yeah; his speed and hit in the high post were tremendous assets (paired with his excessive PED use resulting in getting banned from competition). SIDE NOTE: LOL at the pre-PED Trubin. He was a bean pole. Also, Krasi was one guy who was always able to give Arsen trouble. SIDE NOTE 2: People will hate to hear this, but Michael Todd would have proven a nightmare for this guy. Arsen relied on that speed in the high post with a massive hit to get the win; unless he had a press he could transition into (spoiler alert: he didn't), Todd would have stopped him out wide in the King's and bled him dry.

At the time when he was at his biggest size-wise and beating a lot of popular names, Armwrestling wasn't really paying that well financially so he and a lot of others left. The funny thing is, arm wrestling is gaining mad popularity as of now and Arsen is off the juice, so if he tried to make a comeback, he would get destroyed by almost everyone.

Arsen was legendary! He beat travis bagent in Turkey 6-0,he crushed toddzilla and won against pushkar and all the great ones of his era. But he only beat the king Denise cyplenkov once. Most of their matches ended with Denise as the winner,arsen only bested him once if i remember correctly.
