It was the Glazers, they are the ones who put Woodward into football operations. The Glazers were just interested in and still are just seeing MU as a cash cow. That is why, MU would have been better off with a Qatar ownership. Even with Ratclffe being involved, the Glazers will still get in the way.

Thank you so much for this video. This is exactly what I have been saying for so long! Bringing in an Accountant that knows how to generate funds for the Club was not going to be enough. The Glazers foolishly made Ed Woodward the CEO meaning he was also in charge of Football operations. He knew absolutely nothing about running the Football aspects of a Club. United are still suffering from his terrible tenure as CEO. He made horrible recruitment policies. Buying players above their actual market value and paying ridiculous wages to bang average players! Even the best Manager in World Football will struggle coping with such terrible situations! It's a big relief for the fans that Jim Radcliffe and INEOS are now in charge of Football operations including transfers and the Football structure!🙄

It's really sad to see how man united's fall from grace was, but remember one thing about this club's legacy as well as past is they never ever give up. They will return to how they once was during Sir Alex Ferguson's reign but it take patience plus belief that bad times doesn't last forever, we also had some good times too, like being 2024 fa cup champions as well as many different things also.

Before we won the FA CUP YESTERDAY V CITY 2-1 I’d say it won’t get better for along time, but now we have Erik Ten Hag winning 2 cups and ones runners up. I think we should just let our boss stay for a few more years. I admit we had some bad times were get it right. IN TEN HAG. WE TRUST

You seriously believe all of them were "Flop Buys"? Why were they bought in the first place? Especially when it comes to strikers......they have the same job. Its a flop when you buy, play to their strengths, and they fall off. Trust me, I know. Pogba wasn't played to his strengths all the time, Sanchez......you never even tried to facilitate his strengths, just expected him to score but play a different style. Mainly strikers......you buy back to goal strikers and expect them to run in or buy run in strikers and expect them to play a hold up kind of style. Wrong players playing for wrong tactics. Thats neither players nor managers faults. Thats recruiting. Mourinho a flop manager? F off. Pogba. Di Maria. Sanchez. Sancho. Inadequately utilised. We did it for years and bought shite. You guys haven't bought shite, just used a mechanic as a nurse and a surgeon as a painter. Dont use brilliant players as the excuse. Woodward is to blame but not the talent brought in.

Yep Woodward thought one size fitted all, he bought players technical players when we wanted direct players for the position or vice versa, Pogba is the perfect example, the guy wasn't used right and we all know it, but he was a big name for big sponsors to attach their names too. When Jose finished 2nd they didnt back him with fresh players, we wasted so much money on players we hadn't heard of, Pastor Fred 50 million, he was a 20 million at best player from the Ukraine league, Lindelof another one, we had so many rubbish players but we had some great players as well, Zlatan was a massive loss for us when he left! It will take another 10 years to win the league i turn 50 this year and part of me doesnt think ill see united lift another league title! How sad is that!

Cannot agree completely. United were not very good in transfer when Sir Alex was around also. But Sir Alex made the best out of what he got. So as soon as he was out, those same players started to fade out. I dont know whether the CEO picks manager or not, but picking the manager and the pressure must have greater impact. They spend enough money, but post Ferguson managers could not cope with managing the team, the players and the pressure. If Klopp was United manager and was given the same squad, they would have been a title contender. Because he nurtured players just like Sir Alex. Think of the past managers united got, they all have undisciplined problem. they all failed in man-managing.. And i think Ten Hag is the worst at that.

There is no logoc in your story.. Your statement is that the recent bad period is caused by the shifted attention from being the best team to making the most money after Ed Woodward became the financial boss. And then you mention several great players that for some reason did not succeed at MU. No logic here in your story. It moght be more interesting to investigate who at MU decides on transfers, but that would ofcourse require real intelligent jpurnalism, not AI journalism ;)
