Correction the note said something to the effect of this is your last performance after this you will die that’s why he looks extremely worried and looks around after he reads it, he decided to make his last performance memorable and gave it everything he had

Firstly, love your screen name 😂😂😂 Secondly, how can we know exactly what the note said if he threw it away? Did his friends/family he was with that night say that he told them what was written or something? Whatever the note said he seemed to be very brave throughout his life, he must have had to carry his balls around in a wheelbarrow! 🤪🤣

As a Mexican...yeah, the life of a corrido/banda/norteno/ectect singers tend to always have strange deaths like this happen to them, from Valentin Elizande, Jenny Rivera, to even Chalino's own son Adan Chalino Sanchez. And it's always gonna be agreed that the Narcos had something to do with it, because those people are *very* petty when it comes to wronging them.

I'm Mexican as well. And whenever I visit Mexico for holidays. Me and my parents ALWAYS get stopped by cartel right near the border while the police is also there watching extortions happen. I hate and dispise the cartel with every fiber of my being. I wish we could honestly just go to Mexico and eradicate all of them. I would honestly join the military to help with that. I still have family in Mexico and most of the times cartels harass them. It makes my blood boil.

I’m a pedicabber in Austin, TX. I’m a gringo. I had a Mexican couple take a tour and they wanted to hear Grupo Firme and some other Mexican music. I never listened to that type of music. As I was giving a ride people who heard the music kept making funny noises and it was good vibe. I started listening to the music more and more after that ride. A few months later I heard Tragos Amargos by Ramon Ayala and that was the jam I listened to a lot along with a bunch more songs I know now. Junior H, Fuerza Regida, Codigi FN, El Fantasma are a few I listen to. The Mexican folks can’t believe the gringo is jamming this music, But I play it because I like it and it’s good energy. I had a lady say she should have me DJ her wedding! I’ve had a lot of fun giving people rides and jamming this music. I’ve had whole groups singing songs in front of Mala Vida and Cielo here in Austin, Texas. Just a few weeks ago I was randomly looking for new music and I found Alma Enamorada and I really liked the song. So I’ve been playing it a lot lately. Tonight I was listening to more of Chalino’s songs. Then I decided to read about his life and wow. I watched the video of him getting the note and he was playing the song I first listened to of his. And what a beautiful song it is, I had to translate it to English, most of the songs I sing I don’t know what they mean! Expect for Ya Superame and Tragos Amargos. It seems as though this guy is the King of this music. And I just learned all this tonight and I’m blown away. Life is a trip. Music brings us together and doesn’t see skin color or Nationality. I’m grateful to that couple I gave a ride to who wanted to hear Grupo Firme otherwise I never would have found so much more great music and this sad but amazing story. RIP Chalino Sanchez.

there's a man who on account of many witnesses, tells the story of chalino's demise. the note allegedly wasn't a death note. the note read something along the lines of "see? i told you i could get u wherever i wanted u to." the show he was preforming at was put together by the man who sent him the note, emilio quintero. quintero was referring to when he told chalino he could get him anywhere. pretty much displaying the power he had and that he wasn't somebody to be messed with. quintero was a big shot narco at the time. allegedly , chalino slept with this man's wife. after the show, chalino and his crew were stopped by local police. they took chalino with them ordered by quintero. the plan was to scare chalino and talk to him then drop him off. they were never supposed to kill him. chalino ended up having words with one of the sicarios. this led to them pulling over and the sicario who was having a words with chalino shot him in the back of the head. this is supposedly the most credible version. is it true? who knows. i just thought it'd be neat to share. viva mexico y el rey del corrido!!!

A lot of people hear him, by that i mean people in their 20's, 30's, 40's, and it break tastes of music, here in México it's more common listen pop, rock, or reggeton, but everyone knows at least one song of Chalino and that say a lot of him and his influence over the years, if you ask me i think that his influence will be there for many years and at least other generation.

My high school partner had a cousin who sang corridos. He was well acquainted with Chalino Sanchez Jr sister. This is back in the early 2000's. I can recall being at a party in late 2004 and her sitting next to my partners family. A voluptuous and good looking young lady ( no disrespect ). Anyway, as a Mexican ( Chicano ) this is nothing new. I mean, the story itself is old and many of us have heard of it. Especially back then but it's the fact that he got killed as an artist. That's what I'm talking about here. Many Mexican artist's, actors have been kidnapped and/or killed. If you're Raza, you know what I'm talking about. It's actually part of the norm.
