I like that Von Daniken was able to take the criticism back then. He knew that he may be wrong on certain things but the critics made him stronger and eventually learn more, least he was brave enough ask the questions that others may not.

I dislike how the scientist tries to belittle Von Daniken, yet Von Daniken not once tries this himself. That just says to me science feels it needs to try to trash his work because it feels threatened. Why would science feel threatened if what it states is fact! You have to remain open minded, the closed minds will miss out 💯

It is really easy to judge or even ridicule someone for his/her ideas about unsolved mysteries. If the narrator had the answers, it might have been funny, but his script didn’t provide him any. Thankfully, Erich von Däniken dares to think out of the box, but more important: did a lot of research. I pity you, foolish narrator and script writer.

Why so many commentators disqualify Daniken by saying he is the hotel manager? It was his job to get food and pay the rent. Daniken received a classical education in a good school with Latin and Greek. He had read more ancient books in Lingua Latina and ancient Greek than most professors.

I remember watching documentary's about him in high school he always worn a hat. Ancient "Aliens" is a entertaining show to watch that's for sure. To bad that theme park isn't there anymore.

There are about 2.5 million stones in the pyramid. It took 23 years to build it. The Egyptians would have had to put a stone in place every 2.5 minutes for 23 years. That is impossible. Hence they had help with every aspect of this pyramid.

It is very interesting for Erich to think that aliens built the pyramids in Egypt. Around the 1:39 mark of the video, it mentions how these were built a thousand years before the invention of the wheel, which clearly catches Erich’s eye, but this to me is just non sequitur that the wheel was absolutely needed to construct these pyramids and therefore there weren’t other methods/means of being able to move the stones and materials needed for the construction. I agree with Dr. Aidan Dodson that Von Daniken is clearly doubting what pure human power and numbers can do, this is very similar to those who believe in the mound builders’ myth. Von Daniken also said around the 2:06 mark that these people lived in the Stone Age, but that had ended well before the construction of the pyramids. Around the 4-minute mark, it literally shows a carving in one of the tombs depicting workers moving objects and there are clearly no signs of an alien in any of these carvings. Erich also couldn’t answer why/how ancient alien technology was used to construct the pyramids at the 4:50 mark, which is clear that this story just doesn’t add up and like previously mentioned in the video, it was a fact that no laser beam was needed to cut stone and that copper materials could get the job done. Around the 5:50 mark, Erich says you don’t need a reasonable brain to see how obscure the details are around the construction, but he’s again completely denying what thousands upon thousands of workers working every minute of the day can do. Then believing the cave painting is a spaceman and that the ancient stone shows people using telescopes is simply just pareidolia. The breakdown of the “alien flames” at the 7:26 is simply just well-known Mayan symbols like mentioned in the video. Also, to say that aliens created all ancient beings and structures and even created religion is just extremely far-fetched and a complete denial of the evolution of humans and the capabilities that history and facts have shown. Erich not being supported by any logical experts and not having anything add up is a giveaway that the aliens did not build the pyramids, and he doesn’t acknowledge that at that time these workers were basically forced labor that was worked day in and day out and the pulley systems and copper tools and equipment was able to get the job done. I respect Von Daniken always sticking to what he believes in, but nothing adds up.

The Indian videographer Praveen Mohan has shown much proof of high technology including space tech literally carved in stone. You can't get more hard evidence than that. There are also the plains of Nazca in Peru which show images only visible from above. The ancient scriptures of India tell of not only flying machines, but of space travel.

Wasn't there a time when people believed that the sun and stars revolved around the earth? At the time the pyramid of Giza was being built did they have blueprints of any kind? How is it that it contains so many mathematical, astronomical and geographic features? For example the distances in height between the King's chamber, Queen's chamber and lower room are in the same proportion as the distance between planets. The position of the pyramid of Giza along with the other pyramids is exactly the orientation of the three stars of the Orion Belt to our Milky Way galaxy. We you look at the complexity of the pyramid you have to wonder how the Egyptians were able to build this thing without computers or paper. They had to have had building masters or others direct them. I believe the Egyptians did the labor of cutting the stones and placing them but the planning was not done by the Egyptians.

It's at the exact center of earth's land mass for instance. And there's plenty more details like this one. I will say this that in the Bible in the book of Ezekiel the first 3-4 pages there is a description of a space ship(Rocket more like) it States, Ezekiel was in the field when he heard Loud thunder and that of wind, he saw lightening.
