i did a flat twist out with the 24kt gel and it lasted 9 days!! It's the best gel ever!

That 24Kt gold gel contains monomers of acrylic acid that will dissolve your hair strands over time. I used to use Super Wet gel because it made my hair strands smoother and flatter and then I noticed that, over time, my hair started to thin on the ends and then break off. Super Wet's main ingredient is acrylic acid. I don't put heat on my hair (no blow drying and no flat irons at all so it wasn't heat). Notice that the side she put the 25kt gold gel is flatter and smoother? That's the texturizing effect of the acrylic acid monomers in the gel! It looks cute now, but it won't in a few months when you notice your ends thinning and breaking. Just a warning so you can avoid what I went through. I use the Mane Choice Crystal Orchid; it's safe. You heard it from me first 🌻.

@@toonietime8239 I was gonna order the doux bee girl custard but it has acrylates copolymer and Acrylates/C1030 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer which might be a derivative of acrylic acid

I personally think both sides look great. The 24K side, as you said is more defined. The biotin side, is defined but has a day three look to it, which I think is nice.

Kim I am SO glad that you posted this video! I’m in the UK and the Wetline gel I bought some time ago as a trial has practically finished, with the Company that I order it from being sold out for months, 😫 so i’m not expecting them to get more anytime soon. (By the way it’s VERY expensive here - £10 for 1000g. So when I hear you KZfaqrs showing a big tub “for only $3” I’m NOT impressed!). 😡 Anyway, today is the day I was gonna try something new having in mind The Mane Choice Orchid Gel that you rave about BUT I had misgivings about because it looked too thin and watery for my very thick coily hair. So I am SO glad I decided to look through your Gel videos again. 😆 The results are crystal clear, and you know which one I’ll be buying...... 😉 so thank you!! 😘

The 24k gel seems like it delivered a more polished look & like it took longer to do and the crystal orchid looks more lax although they both took the same amount of time. I’ve only tried the crystal orchid but after watching your vid I definitely want to try the other, thanks for the great review! ❤️

I like how your curls came out so shiny 😍😍that ancient Egyptian iss bomb!💥 and it does show that you have more definition on that one side 😅I used the ancient Egyptian gel and I really like how it made my hair feel and my curls were popping I got a lot of comments on how mines looked. I’ve used the Egyptian Gold gel for twistouts only. Always a winner. I use the biotin one for twistouts. One thing I noticed, you shingled the Egyptian Gold side that might be why the curls lasted. I may have to try that. Thanks.

I just found the orchid to be drying, but no flakes. I like the 24kt but found it to be a little drying also but not as much as the Orchid. Definitely like the 24kt better.

It depends on what look you’re going for. I like puffy hair, so I like the biotin side. I’ve used the 24 carat gel, I love it, my hair is shiny and defined, but again I prefer puffy hair, so I have to try the other gel, praying it doesn’t flake.

I get the opposite with both.. it’s more frizzy but still defined with 24kt but the biotin tends to give me a better hold 😩. I like both tho

Did a Wash & go with the Biotin Infused One & I couldn’t Believe how full my hair was. My hair usually is weighed down with *Other gels But Mane’s gel still kept mine volumized & yet still defined. Plus my hair had more bounce than usual. Believe the Hype

i'm not a fan of the biotin crystal orchid gel. It's hard to get consistently satisfactory results with it. And i really don't like inconsistent products. I tried using it by itself, and it was a fail. It has to have a leave in underneath it, but you have to be careful about which one because it'll either make flakes or, more likely, dry your hair out completely and give it a frighteningly dull cast. It's actually the worst natural hair product i've ever tried after Lotta Body.
