I love the art and character designs. And the concept is dope too. Soul eater and Fire force has such a refreshing style and swag to it, the spiritual successor/ descendant of those masterpieces sounds 100% up my alley

This whole "if your father is a murderer so is the son" thing is totally talking about japans society. Although im not too sure how bad it is now but in japan they dont just blame the criminal they blame the entire family and often think they are just as bad.

It's got dynamic, clean art like My Hero Academia, and a grungy, oppressive atmosphere like Dorohedoro. All-in-all very promising.

Main thema and style feels very close to Akudama Drive and Cyberpunk 2077. As both present theme that crime is not always evil. As in the end it can still allow you to develop your own individuality and freedom. When blind following of the law, only strengthens sense of power of those in control of these rules. As result citizens lose their individuality and get slave mentality. When those in control of rules turn into tyrannt`s. Criminals are the only ones, with individuality to see beyond the system and can criticise it. In Cyberpunk it were corporations that had too much power. When people working for corporations only strengthened it, making rich people lose touch with poor more and more In Akudama Drive it was police force, that had real physical power over the citizens that made them lose touch with normal people.

Just read it and instantly love it. In my opinion, the setting of story is what intrigues me to continue reading it. There are so many questions in my head such as why are there people in "heaven"?, why are there also people underground? And so much more. I truly recommend this manga to other readers.

Just read 6 chapters and i think the fact that its more gritty than your typical Shonen is nice. Gives the story more substance and a reason to care, the mystery factor is like any other manga and manhwa i have read. But the world building in just the first chapter really hooks you in for what might come. I recommend others to read Kaiju No.8 if they like Gachi Akuta.

i love gachiakuta alot, and amos my favorite. especially with her backstory, which uses show dont tell. the way the creator uses a child like scribble to portray the darkest parts to show amos innocence to it all speaks in a way words couldnt. its such a good read i wait for each chapter with such excitement
