I know I’m an old soul at heart and I’m not ashamed of it lol. I grew up listening to these songs when my dad would go on road trips or when my mom would be cleaning around the house. I know most of these songs word for word and can sing them lol nothing like old school music 🎶

This my Favorite R.B. Group. I Work in the World Trade Building in New York .and on Wednesday and Thursday the Manhattan would be there . And I would make sure I be there to here them singing and it was free. I met gerald Austin and I was so in love with him. Soooooooo much good Memories. I have all song. Still looking good and sound good. God has blessed all of them.

yes indeed I was at a concert he did it Gerald had tge humility to return to the group aft he tried a solo career I was always hoping praying Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin would of have humbled themselves and rejoined THE TEMPTATIONS no replacements ever took their places sing GERALD

The Temptations have always been appreciated it's known by many ppl of their time how they could sing i saw them at 12 you old in concert from4th row seats on their 1st tour GORGEOUS GEORGE MC THEY recorded the LIVE!!! album we as a race of ppl knew them it was "crossover" ppl that were not on to them only song most knew was My Girl which was written by Sm okey Robinson for DAVID RUFFIN to record we as African Descdnt got blessed with the gift of singing EDDIE KENDRICKS LED OVER 85% OF THEIR RECORDS DAVID DID 60% PAUL WILLIAMS 70% IN THE ORIGINAL GROUP W MELVIN and Otis 10% They had been sent to be primarily background singers they did it well but All could lead if the writers wrote for them I'll never agree with TV 1 UNSUNG THEY WERE NOT!!! I have known Gerald from his early days in Henderson, NC, my cousin played Saxophone behind him in the old days. He is a very kind spirit. And so blessed vocally. The last time I met him was on Rockspring street in Henderson, visiting my cousin, 2013/2014 , same smile and same genuine personality.

When I was station in Darmstadt Germany in 1976 the Manhattans came and the show was sold out and everyone were having a good time the floor was full with dancing. Man did I enjoy them. This is true music with a meaning. Keep singing Gerald.

I started buying the Manhattans records in the mid 60s. I guess I'm an older guy who likes the original group more but maybe that's just me. But, hey, this later group is great too.

As an ex DJ-I know music. Been a part of KZfaq for years, this Manhattans Concert is honestly the BEST I've ever seen/heard on KZfaq. #1, in a class all by itself. I enjoyed listening, thoroughly......

Alston he's such a great singer I seen him and his group since the seventies he always sing with heart and soul so underated I don't understand

This group touched deeply in my heart, while riding to and from work, at home, and in the Clubs I always wanted to just dance,dance, and dance. Their music is so touching. Love you guys.

When I saw this group in Barbados in the 1970's I was shocked by the extremely beautiful performance. Record stores would play their music over and over every day. Thank you beautiful guys and if your lead singer had sung A CHANGE IS GOING TO COME about 35 years ago it would have reached about 7 millions views. I just played it about 5 times, I just love it. Also this performance is more than beautiful

I just love listening to Gerald sang that voice is like no other I wish I could have had the pleasure to attend one of his live concerts I would have been so ticked and excited to be there maybe one day in the near future god 🙏 bless you Gerald and the guys take care and stay safe love from Michigan
