Holdup….. Sooooo Kitty Kat, Upgrade You, Greenlight, Diva…..and the list goes on weren’t “provocative”, sexual, cash money shit talking songs & videos?????? She literally was in a warehouse filled with mannequins styled like her in the Diva video BEFORE Rihanna dropped Rated R. Upgrade & Kity Kat dropped during Rihanna’s Umbrella stage. Ring The Alarm was about killing her husband’s mistress lmao. Idk I hear what people are saying but the evidence just doesn’t match. I’m huge Rihanna fan just don’t see the comparison nor competition there

Just 1 thing I want to say about the comment that 4 didn’t perform as it should have. I kinda disagree because she won many awards & dominated the charts with Girls, Love on Top, and Party. She won best R&B Grammys 2 years in a row from that album and was pregnant the whole time. After having Blue she went on tour and racked up more awards for that album. I believe it’s more that this era lasted longer because the album had staying power. The Dance For You video came out a year after the album dropped while she was on tour & the Countdown video dropped after giving birth to Blue. So I kinda disagree on that point. 2 years after the 4 album most pop artists started trying more melodic music but Bey was on to the next 😝

In all honesty, she is not that well known outside of the US compared to other not so "legendary" artists like Katy Perry

The World Tour numbers say otherwise. Her tours gross more than Katy Perry's tours. Only Taylor is grossing higher right now, but not even on a per-tour basis. If Beyonce were to do as many shows as Taylor, she is likely to outsell, or at least equal her grossing numbers.

I guess that’s why she’s the only mainstream artist doing global meaning WORLD tours. The kickoff of her new album is in Asia and the kickoff of her previous tour was in India. BOTTOMLINE you don’t like Beyoncé & the truth works your 😳

@@haikuu7059 Google "Beyonce’s global heatmap", she is just not that big in Spanish Latin America nor Japan, which happen to be the places where I've lived, just look at the renaissance tour, she didn't include Latin America nor Asia, I might be wrong but not even Australia. I am by no means saying she's not a good artist, I am just saying, for some reason, she is not that legendary worldwide as Americans might expect.
