In this segment of my US History EOC Review series, I discuss impact of the Marshall Court and its decisions, such as Marbury v. Madison, that increased the power of the federal judiciary through judicial review. While the Jeffersonian Republicans took control of the White House and Congress in the Election of 1800, John Marshall's influence kept the Court in the hands of the Federalist Party for several decades - even after the Federalists ceased to be competitive in national elections following the War of 1812.
This lecture addresses USHC 1.7 in the South Carolina curriculum standards for US History and the Constitution.

+bloodandwinearered It's quite possible. This particular video series is aimed at helping high school students review for an end of course exam based on the state curriculum. If it doesn't flow the same way as most of my videos, that's the reason. I'll have some of my own videos coming up this week on content of my own choosing. Right now, I'm editing a three part lecture on the Rise of Hitler. Stay tuned!

+Tom Richey >> >> Tom, would you say that, if there was no huge Communism increase in Germany in the 1920s and early 1930s, then Hitler would not have gained as much support in the way that he did in the early 1930s?

Tom Richey I am sure that you are aware of the injustices in The West of the education and media talking very little about the huge Marxism movement which is still happening. For any informed person, it is a big cover up. The victims of the genocides under Communism deserve much more than a paragraph in the history books of our schools. In my opinion, the critical lessons of Marxism oppression must be taught thoroughly for millennials to embrace their responsibility to struggle against Cultural Marxism and Political Marxism today and in the future.
