I would love that! I went down a rabbit hole and started watching some of your other videos. I just noticed that you live in Melbourne! I go home every few weeks to visit my family because my parents are older, and that's how I know all too well about the culture there. It's crazy how different the culture is from the mainland compared to the beachside. I'm home for a week starting on October 4! Are you around at that time? We should meet up!

That's a great question! Some things are better in Egypt, but others are better in Iraq. For example, in Egypt, everything is set up for tourists, and it's easy to travel there. Tourism is new in Iraq, so it was very difficult to plan my trip and obtain certain information. There are many more hotel options in Egypt, and the prices are cheaper. I was shocked by how expensive really bad hotels are in Iraq. 😂 In Iraq and Egypt, the people are very friendly, and many want to talk to me. However, I think they are even friendlier in Iraq. I did not come across any scams in Iraq but in Egypt, sometimes someone will try to ask me for money just to take a photo or give me information. In Iraq, people offer this kindness for free without asking for money. Not everyone does this in Egypt, but unfortunately, I do come across this in the tourist areas. I like that Iraq has fewer tourists at their tourist sites, and I can enjoy it more. Unfortunately, every tourist site in Egypt is crowded. However, as I mentioned, traveling to Egypt is easier because there are so many tourists! Lastly, I like that Egypt is more progressive. Iraq was more religious and conservative than Egypt. When I walk around the streets of Egypt, I see more women and interact with them. in Iraq, I don't see as many women out and about. In regards to food, I think the food is great in both Iraq and Egypt! The best falafel I've ever had was in Egypt but the best fish (masgouf) I've ever eaten was in Iraq!
