I read this when I was like 9 or 10 depending how delayed I was to get a copy. I always got excited to see him suddenly start singing Frankie Valli simply because I knew/was familiar with that song. So it particularly struck me to see it get used in _Shit of a sequel......err..um....Son of The Mask._ Is it all a massive coincidence or is that song significant to someone within the franchise?!

I wouldn’t give that filth _that_ much credit for being able to make such an unusual callback. It’s why I’m curious if it’s a song significant to someone who made the franchise that it was being homaged.

As somebody who grew up on the Jim Carrey movie and always wanted to check out the comics, this channel's been great. Thanks so much for the dubs and the uploads, I intend to see this through to the end. Really thrown off balance when that old "Too Good to be True" song came up. Can't believe someone who worked on Son of the Mask apparently actually did at least a page or two of the comic at some point, considering how shitty it is.
