It could be the zonai towers spread throughout hyrule. They are kinda positioned like shrines, though a few more would have to be added for it to be like the shrines

There are three possibilities, 1. No Sheikah slate 2. Zelda gets her own story/chapter where she has the Slate 3. Sheikah slate will be usable at some point whether that be an endgame reward or after a questline

The sheikah technology is one of the things I love about BotW, it'd kind of ruin it if they remove it in TotK. They better make an extraordinary way of replaces the sheikah if they're removing it all. But yes, we need to be able to pet dogs. Also I've never heard your voice before, not sure if this is your first video doing a voice over or I just haven't seen other videos with your voice, super cool though.

Although it's kinda upsetting that there may not be sheikah tech and that stuff, I really hope there is some Zonai tech, and more Zonai weapons, because there was A LOT about them in botw. Also petting doggos would be amazing, and also nice voice!

I think we would most likely get a fast traveling method, we still don't know what but it might be that flying platform where link lands on in the trailer. I definitely think it's better if ToTk will be more storyline focused

I'm hoping Tears Of the Kingdom will be similar to Breath Of the Wikd., except maybe a Metroidvania with items, though it seems the Sheekah runes will now be implemented through the green arm. I think they will still be there, except maybe a bit different. While I think it will be more story driven, I'm hoping that it will be more where the story is revealed more atmospherically and maybe with NPC comments and quests helping to get us curious about exploring the area they intend for us to go next naturally, although the game would still be open world in such a way that we could naturally stumble onto the next area they want us to go. I"m also thinking that stone bird may be part of our new fast travel method, requiring that we climb to a high area where it can get to, call it via the arm, then direct it where we want to go, similar to flying a loftwing. It may require going up into the sky then summoning below to access most anywhere of the surface, then the paraglider is used everywhere else. So far, I think we've pretty much only seen one or two of Link's new abilities, but I think we will have a good handful (pun intended) to use.

im preety sure the shrines, towers have just gone back in the ground, like before we activated the plateu, for the devine beasts, they were getting a shot on the catsle, so they went somewhere else, as for the shekahslate, zelda has it

Those green swirls that you see on the surface of Hyrule are fast travel points

this could be a prequel or alternate universe then, because there's no reason for all shrines and towers to have vanished, unless they just havent come out of the ground yet

I fell like since we know that Ganon had something to do with the towers coming up they might’ve gone back down but the shrines were always there so they should at least still be there just not active anymore. Just my opinion

i think that the corrupted arm is going to be fixed in some way and rember that yellow stuff on his arm well i think its the sheka slate that was scraped and gave link newer and imporved powers

All I'm wondering is: 1. Will we all start of in the shrine of resurrection again or is it gone. 2.do we have to find the shieka slate and different shrines/towers. 3.WHY THE HELL ARE THE TOWERS AND DIVINE BEASTS GONE?!

I think that it was needed for Nintendo to get rid of agent tech because if thy did not then in the beginning of the game link would be able to just teleport to every single place it would take away the explorational feel to the game. so trading it with what looks like stuff that should exist in the skyward sword universe, makes me feel like the game will, as far as gameplay will go be fantastic and a smooth sequel for breath of the wild I'm just hoping the story is good to as well as the temples/divine beast.

I find it weird that people's first assumption when they've removed all the shiekah tech is that the game will now be "more linear" even though it's arguably more open ended than botw. sky islands, caves, and nothing that's hinted at the possibility of us not being able to explore to our heart's content. all the removal of shiekah technology tells me is that totk is more than just botw; totk is it's own zelda game with it's own themes, features, and gameplay elements that may take from botw but are not all identical to it.

it has been theorized that the rune powers, teleportation, and new features will come from the new arm. And in the scene at 0:40 although unseen here there is a new small structure that has the light green of everything else. I think that is how Link will teleport. That could be due to ganon. For example, the sheer power he possesses as the source of all malice might have destroyed the divine sheikah tech and awoken the ancient zonai defense systems which were used to contain it prior to the sheikah. Seeing how advanced the Constructs are it could be that the sheikah based their tech on theirs. We might get an alternative to fast travel in the form of these islands or maybe some kinda zonai structure. Who knows

I think making it more story driven, with different skillsets, that's going to make it better than the same experience all over again, while (I hope) keeping the exploration and the sandbox physics

I really like botw, so playing a similar but at the same time different Zelda game will be pretty unusual. Anyway, I’m still excited for tears of the kingdom!

If it will stay the same as BOTW, people will complain that this doesn't deserve to be a sequel but a DLC instead. So changing the entire mechanics and/or QoL would be an advantage to TOTK, as it will give an entirely different experience. But who knows? We might finally get a post game now, and that post game will be the entire Sheikah technology quests we got in BOTW.
