Malaysian banks are very undervalued opposite of Indonesia now. MBB, CIMB, Public Bank and Hong Leong bank market cap should be at least 20% - 25% higher but, the local markets a bit depressed.

What factors? Is that a trick question? Just kidding. Well, rich Taiwanese fear for their wealth in the face of invasion threats from China and Filthy rich China man fear their wealth and are escaping from the grasp of the ccp given the financial troubles in China. In communism regime, what's yours is theirs if they need it for nation building. The Straits of SG is a natural resource neither USA nor China owns. Its worth its weight in gold. SG need not take sides because of this super power. So the 3rd super power is SG followed by India

About the overpriced of BCA, it is because of the difference of market expected potential only. Because the average Singaporean is already rich, which make the expected potential low, while the average Indonesian is still poor but has 5% plus average growth and inefficiency that has a high interest rate gap making the expected potential higher. The difference in the price to book value on stock market only shows the difference in expected future expansion and nothing more.

Safe to say that singapore is essentially the Richest FLAWLESS democracy❤👍👍👍👏👏👏‼️ SG does not take sides with either China nor USA. We have the Straits of SG that none of them have. Singapore is still a flawed democracy because it is not entirely free and fair in the political arena (even the US is classified as a flawed democracy). And we certainly do slant more towards one side than the other. The strategic waterway is the Straits of Melaka, not the Straits of Singapore, and last I checked, it bothers Malaysia and Indonesia too.

Singapore's democracy index is ranked 66th. Indonesia is ranked 52nd, the Philippines is ranked 54th, both of these countries already have a better democracy than Singapore. It's far, way far from what you call it as a "flawless" democracy.

Sorry you can't even tell between Japanese Flag and Korean Flag? Such basic mistakes. Anyway, your your numbers are all wrong. Anyway at a low rate environment high CASA values will bring you benefits, but at a high rate environment,CASA will be a killer. What you should look towards is the NII and risk exposures, you cannot look at banks like other corps.
