I’ve never seen this movie outside a couple clips from reviews, but I’m under the impression that this was Dana Carvey’s attempt at making an Austin Powers-esque movie.

I'm kinda glad that this is Dana carveys legacy Apparently after shrek hit it big Dana got super jealous and bitter towards Mike Myers for his success And pretty much ended their friendship This movie was a train wreck to film and was rushed beyond belief I even heard Jennifer Esposito had a terrible time filming because her character was constantly sexualized and harrassed

I'd love to see a version of this movie where everyone is still insane, but the main character is the only one seeing how ridiculous everything is. When the situation would require a disguise or some convoluted plan, the main character just sighs and does something normal to fix the situation.

The worst part about this is that in the part where they're speaking italian, the subtitles do not match what they're saying at all. Like they didn't even try.

The only thing well executed in this movie is the pacing of the recurring fart jokes. Yet that's not what people remember about it, because like a Michael Bay movie, it's hard to remember the top fart moments when your entire movie is one giant incoherent fart.

The worst part is that the age it was aimed at would get none of the references. The Bo Derek golden swimsuit in the beginning, the creepy fog scene that was from the Exorcist, etc... all from movies from the 70s that nobody at that age would have seen because they were R rated. The fact that even at your age now you still don't get the majority of the references says it all. Every single scene was from something else, and in those scenes there were other smaller references. It was ridiculous.

When I was 17 in '04 and stuck on a school bus for the disabled children that was repurposed for 4 weeks w 3 other kids and 2 chaperones, this was one of the only movies we had. It was this, finding Nemo, Shrek, Fargo and Artanarjuat:the fast runner. You begin to find things funny when trapped in such conditions.

We rented this movie on VHS from Blockbuster back when it came out. When it was over, and we took it out of the machine, all the film was spewing out of it. So I think it died after it was over.
