I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.

I still listen to "Listen to the Music" almost every day, near top of my playlist. But then again I'm an old fart of 81 who was weaned on this stuff.

I know right!!! It's mind-blowing what they can sound like without instruments. I'm 8 years into being a Home Fry, and I still find myself sitting their with my jaw on my lap when they release new stuff. They are so incredibly impressive. So talented, so skilled, so humble and fill of joy and love, and they are so grateful. Perhaps that's why they can do what they do. 🥰🙏

Home Free is the BEST Group going right now. ! speak as a 25 year Professional DJ. All you have to do is "Listen To The Music" that they put out. They are constantly right on melody, timing, and harmony!! Their Beat Boxer is AWESOME!! No wonder their music sounds so good. Keep on "keepin' on" guys and stay the BEST!!

What a fantastic cover, the guys did a great job again. And Adam is just out of this world, phenomenal vocal percussion. Home Free is also masters at not bastardizing a song and still putting their own stamp on it.

This is my new favorite from Home Free. Can't help but move along with the beat Adam lays down. Doobie's were huge when i was a teenager and i listened to them all the time. I love the Home Free spin on this song. Keep the HF coming Greg. I love your reactions!

Freaking fantastic. Oh, those rich, tasty harmonies of Chance and Rob, and Tim's freakishly good bass line, and Austin's lead. Gees, his voice soars so strong he could knock drones out of the sky. As soon as they sign that first note I was ready to jump up and just start dancing.. My God this song is excellent they did this to perfection.. The Doobie Brothers will be proud of this one.. Glad you got around to this one quickly. I said the same thing the day they dropped it; The Doobie Brothers might have released it, but Home Free killed it and brought it back as their own.

This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's so handsome. I do like that he has his hair a bit longer again and then with that bandana on.

I've been watching you annualize their videos and I do believe they have a new fan! Keep on listening I've yet to hear anything bad that they do. They are truly blessed, as we are blessed to be able to hear them perform. I'm wanting to see them in person. I've watched their live shows and they're just as good on stage as they are on a recording. There are no words for how talented they are. Pray they always do what they do, at least until l am dead and gone.

I LOVE your reaction to this....actually LOVE your reactions to all of the wonderful music video's. I also LOVE the way you understand music and how it is suppose to make you feel when it is so dang good. You absolutely get it 100%. Thank you for letting us laugh, be emotional & get in the groove with you. I can't wait to see more reactions with the kind of music I grew up with, 50' & 60's, danced & partied to in the 70's & played it all for my kids so they'd know what great music was at one time. Home Free is known as the country version of this type of music and Voiceplay is known for their more theatrical version and they also have one of the best bass singer you could ever hear and in their version of "The Ooggie Booggie Song" the bass singer is the center of the musical so please check them out.

I'm pretty sure that the Doobie Brothers had 3 guitars, a bass guitar, and 2 percussionists. Home Free needed to fill in a LOT of sound. So there is certainly some layering and some reverb, but they make the original sounds themselves!

Love how you got into this rendition! I really didn't listen to country... until I heard these guys. Loved them in concert, going again next month - they're quiet fun in addition to being great musicians. You should check out their version of "Try Everything" from the movie Zootopia... amazing to hear live.

Adam Rupp makes every sound from the original song they don't usually match so well with the original but this one is not as old as the others so they didn't have to do as many updates to the sound
